Jasmine green tea is a blend of two plants: Maofeng green tea from Emei Mountain where famous for abound with green tea in Sichuang of China， and premium jasmine flowers, a perfect blend of rich aroma of jasmine and succulent flavours of green tea.  The preparation process involves spreading a layer of jasmine flowers on top of green tea leaves and then tea absorbs the scent and flavor of jasmine, which is known for its aromatic qualities. This process has been practiced since the Song Dynasty, about 500 years ago, when the first known reference to jasmine tea was recorded.
