This one works well.
These network switches are easy to use and trouble free--I have several. The last "renewed" one of these switches I bought was dead-on-arrival and had to be returned, but Amazon quickly arranged for its replacement--and the replacement is working well.

Compren mejor uno nuevo
Tenia 3 puerto que no servía, aún así decidí instalarlo y no duró ni 24 horas y se quemó, mala experiencia con este producto reacondicionado

Cheap, plug and play, no fuss option
Reviewed October 2021:This is the 4th or 5th gigabit hub I've got in the house, and none of them are from the same manufacturer! When they are simply self managing plug and go, they are all pretty well the same from a performance perspective, it becomes a decision on price and possibly size and weight.House is hard wired and where possible, I connect up as much as possible wired, so TV's, streaming devices, home office PC and printer and so on. This means that in several rooms there is the need for one than one device, hence the need for a small switch. This TP link device is 8 port rather than 5, probably won't need 8 in the one room, but it was a touch larger in size and a touch heavier which means that when connected up, the cables don't effect it by pulling / twisting it.This one has a hard plastic case, not metal, but it's pretty solid, and has 2 holes in the base if there is the need to fix it to a wall, under a table, etc.Its an external power supply, which I hate, but is the same for all brands, I'm sure because it enables them to be smaller in size and heat management. Its a 5 volt power supply, wouldn't it have been better to have used a USB connector for power? In use it does exactly what it is supposed to straight out of the box.Would I buy another? I'd by the cheapest one available at the time, there is nothing special or bad when compared to other manufacturers.

not quite what I ordered
I purposely ordered from the site because the photograph showed the unit to be the older squared model. This was desired because of the network activity indicators on the front of the unit. When it arrived it was the new glossy plastic thing they sell now with the activity indicators on the network sockets. The manufacturers box was damaged but the item inside was ok. There was no sign of damage on the carriers bag. Not best pleased!
