Exactly what I needed.
This fabric is great. It’s so versatile. The quality is good. It’s strong enough for what I need it for. I’m going to use it for wrapping around my ring lights to soften them. You can definitely use them for kite material or waterproofing or anything like that though. The size is bigger than I expected. I already cut it up but it’s way bigger than I was needing. It’s white.

A pleasant surprise
I usually shop at hobby stores for my fabric, but with a tight schedule, I decided to order what I needed online. I was building a camping tarp and wanted something soft, easy to fold, and versatile enough to wrap up when needed. I didn’t want to go with a basic blue tarp, so I gave this a try—and I’m really glad I did. It met all my needs, and the quality is great. On my first trip, a branch fell onto the tarp, and it held up without a single tear. Bottom line: it’s solid and reliable.

Made a great Barbie box costume.
Worked great for my project. Used heat transfer vinyl for the lettering.

Good
After discovering that Louisiana allows hunters to wear blaze pink for safety as opposed to blaze orange, I went in search of blaze pink hunting apparel. After being unable to find many items for sale, I decided to make my own. This fabric is a good pic for blaze pink - it's a hot neon color that will show up good in the woods. Unfortunately, it is thin and a bit sheer, so I added a liner to my vest to solve that problem. The other thing I don't like is that the fabric is a bit shiny and noisy. It makes noise when I move, kind of like a plastic bag. I'm still looking for another fabric that to possibly make another. So, it is not ideal for what I bought it for, but it was definitely not a waste of time or money. I'll just keep hunting for another hot pink fabric that is a bit thicker and more quiet. In the meantime, I think my vest will do nicely. It was inexpensive and easy to cut and sew. And I think it came out pretty cute!!

Excellent Banner Material
I can't speak to how well this material works for kites and the like, but it makes wonderful banner material, which is what I purchased it for. It's very easy to cut it to the desired size with a rotary cutter, stitch it with a sewing machine, and paint on it with acrylic paint. The paint dries nicely on the surface and does not bleed through to the back, and the material is flexible enough so that the paint on the surface folds with the fabric and does not crack or peel off. I stitched the cut edges with a zigzag stitch to prevent minor raveling of the material; you don't need to do more than that, which is nice. I also stitched small round circles on the corners, cut out the inside of the circles, and used it with a rope to tie it up. It is lightweight, and the next banners I make will have a dowel rod sleeve on the top to keep the banner fairly straight while it's hanging inside of a pop-up canopy. If you're looking for a good material that will easily accept acrylic paint to use for homemade banners, this is an excellent solution.

Very Plastic-like - stiff and noisy
This fabric is very stiff and thin. It makes a crunching sound when it is crinkled in any way. I used to be able to buy (at Joann's) soft and flexible ripstop for my sewing projects. This fabric is very plastic-y.

Very pleased with great customer service
Updated: seller contacted me in regards to the original 1 star review. They ended up sending me replacement material in a different color. I was informed that the fluorescent colors don’t hold up out in the sunlight. Very pleased with the customer service from this company!! I had ordered this material in yellow a few years ago to sew golf flags. They stayed pretty nice for a few summers. I recently ordered the fluorescent orange to replace them. They almost immediately faded to white and by the end of one summer are all ripped and torn. Extremely disappointed!
