Bought this DeSantis Thumb Break Mini Slide for a Sig P365 XL with a Romeo X Compact red dot. The fit was quite good, possibly needing a 1/2 mm trim of the edge of the thumb break leather under the battery on the Romeo X. It actually snaps quite well without the trim job. So altogether, it is exactly was I was looking for. Leather holster, great retention, great fit, nice craftsmanship, comfortable OWB carry. And Amazon offered this holster at a good price. And a bonus, a P365 (no red dot) fits perfectly too.

The desantis quality is felt with this product. I’ve had the scabbard for my Glock 19 for well over five years with no cracks or discoloration. I’m have a good feeling that this product will be at the same quality level.

Carried a gun on my side for over 20 yrs. This holster is of excellent quality and is one of the best I have ever used. It holds the weapon close to the body and is easily concealed under a jacket, vest or loose t-shirt. The button retention is as good as any other holster of top reputable brand.

First of all, I love this holster. It fits the 365 perfectly and allows for concealed carry...very comfortably I might add. There is a problem though, The inside of the thumb break that rests against your body needs to be thicker and reinforced further down the length of the holster. Repeated drawing and holstering either with practice or on qualification or tactical ranges causes that part to become very loose (opposite of stiff like it should be). While keeping eyes on target and trying to reholster, that inside portion bends outward, and makes reholstering cumbersome, slow, and possibly dangerous. Would I buy this again? Yes I would, for everyday carry, but never for frequent in and out use which will decrease the stiffness of the thumb break portion against the body.
