Vibrant Performance Vibrant 1140 2.25" Ultra Quiet Resonator

I've used these mufflers on my truck and this last purchase was for my VW based kit car with a Subaru swap. They are free flowing and small, but really cut down the undesirable sounds and make the exhaust sound great, both on this car and on my truck! Best muffler i've ever bought (and i've bought a bunch)! They are made from 304 stainless so they look great. The one on my truck has been installed for almost 2 years and still looks great even after 2 PA winters. Also, i haven't noticed any degredation in the performance of the muffler after 2 years. (Sometimes cheaper glasspacks will blow out the packing and thus not muffle as well as when they were new, so far i have not observed this on either vehicle). Very happy with my purchase and i highly recommend to anyone.

I have never seen such quality , on any car or truck part . Amazing fit every inch is , hate to use this word , but only one that fits , beautiful . Seems are flawless , you can see yourself on finish could easily be on a six figure custom car or truck . I needed something to quiet my supercharged truck . Yes guys , I like some noise , but after traveling on a trip for five hours , not worth the noise . Not going to mention the expensive exhaust brand , it sucked , I added these to cut the roar , and droan, Perfect . Yes, when I get into boost it still roars , supercharger whistles . But cruising and on cruise control I can enjoy the radio with out worrying about needing hearing aids . And it's a perfect addition to the duals . And there sharp and truck is a sleeper

As it seems to give more of a quicker response and better performance. Made of stainless steel to help keep rust at bay and allowing for more years without needing to purchase another. .

Easy install, made it have a deeper sound, got rid of rasp.

Hardly what I would call ultra quiet, but it toned it down from loud to comfortable and has a nice growl.

I purchased two of these to throw on my catback straight-piped Mercedes C-Class. I ordered them Friday morning and they were delivered less than 24hrs later. I'm sure my neighbors were getting tired of my ridiculously aggressive cold starts at 10 pm when I left for work. Before I welded these on, it droned like crazy and vibrated the whole cabin when cruising between 1200-2500 RPMs. The rasp also made things a bit too ricey for me. These resonators eliminated 100% of the rasp and the drone is barely even noticeable. They did quiet the overall sound output quite a bit, but the tone is deep and throaty under hard acceleration. For the money, they're totally worth it. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking to tame an overly obnoxious exhaust.

I added one of these to my 2020 WRX's exhaust with muffler deletes. It gets rid of the rasp and drone at highway speeds. I've gotten several compliments on the sound. It sounds aggressive, but not obnoxious. the construction reminds me of Magnaflow mufflers that I've purchased in the past, but with a smaller casing.

This is an excellent resonator. Priced well for the 304 stainless steel construction, and it is polished to perfection. I have come to expect Vibrant products to be of high quality, and this is no exception. I had the bottle style resonator on my car before, and it was a little loud for my taste in a convertible. Switched to this ultra quiet resonator and it definitely dropped the noise level some. Car sounds great now. Has a nice tone but isn’t overwhelming. Highly recommend.
