My boat is a ‘03 Mercury keyed in 2F, this key didn’t come close to fitting.Maybe there are multiple Mercury 2F’s? Kind of seems implausible, skip this one.

Key did not work as promised.
This was a replacement key for my boat. I looked up the key number, the advertisement said it was a direct replacement, but it was not really a close fit. Customer service adsided me to send photos of both keys, which I did but no response since. That was over a week ago.Not a lot of money, just aggravation.I gave 2 stars, not one only because they initially responded to my complaint.
