Nicely detailed with plenty of realistic functions. The battery life is good, but you have to be careful not to run the shovels lipo down all the way or it may no longer except a charge. I gave this to my nephew who is 3 years old for Christmas, but his father works it for him. He is amazed by how it operates. Overall, I would say its a pretty good value taking into consideration all the features you get.

This was a Christmas gift for my great grandson. He tends to be a little hard on his toys, especially outside toys. But this has lasted him very well. Goes over sand and dirt and in and out of holes. He really loves playing with it. So for durability, I would give it a five star.

My oldest son chose this for his younger brother as a Christmas gift. I helped him to review options and we decided on this one based on the reviews, and especially because it's constructed of metal not plastic. We've had it about 4 months now, it has taken some tumbles and handling by a 6 year old very well. It moves pretty well in any terrain we've used it on (dirt, grass, rocks). The battery lasts quite awhile and my son enjoys the realistic movement of the boom. Yes the bucket & thumb doesn't move like a real piece of machinery, that's well noted by the seller, my son likes it as is and has no trouble using his hand to fill the bucket with sand and dump it while he playing, no complaints.I would absolutely recommend this product!

My 5yo absolutely loved this toy. He's pretty rough on things so it didn't last very long but I think you'd get quite a bit of life out of it if you child was older and better at playing nicely with things.

I was BLOWN AWAY with the quality of this remote-controlled excavator! to be honest my expectations were low because of the price of the item. But when it arrived i was more than satisfied!!! the quality of the excavator. i have two boys ages 7 and 9 and let me tell you, they are ROUGH on toys and these excavators have been able to withstand both of my boys!! Both boys received one for Christmas and to this day they are still running, and all pieces are still intact!!! WOWW... as a mom the best part for me was that they come with an extra battery pack, which is a complete life saver. TBH i ended up having to buy a THIRD one because they were such a hit in my house that i had to purchase one for my husband so him and both boys each have their own and set up dig sights out back for them to work their excavators in ha. deft would purchase again.

Very cool as long as you keep it charged up and ready for the next job site! I purchased this for my 4 year old and he loves it and even my 8 year old likes to have a turn to play with it. Also it helps with hand-eye coordination I definitely recommend this product especially if you have a child that loves heavy equipment.
