Q: Not sure why the power button does not work at all. I can only unplug to cut power...I bought this for the power button specifically.

Maybe defective switch or you have short somewhere on your flight controller. (Red light) Reason for power switch is for Power ON/OFF Switch for Easier Receiver BindingHolding down the bind button and applying power can be challenging sometimes.
