(Quick Summary: I highly recommend this cube for beginners or for just anyone who wants a fun little puzzle that they can throw on their shelf in a home or office to use as a conversation starter. The cube is sturdy and of course it has the nostalgia of being an actual Rubik’s cube.)Now, of course by my title, you should understand that this is NOT a speed cube. So if you plan on buying this in hopes to beat a record or improve your speed cubing time, I wouldn’t recommend it.NOW… with that being said. The cube is actually built very well in my opinion. Compared to the old and other “sticker” versions, this cube is actually turns very well. I label it a sticker version only because that’s what I’ve seen others label it as. However, it doesn’t actually use stickers. The cube uses tiles in place of stickers. So, you don’t have to worry about them peeling over time or fading.Next on the checklist is its ease of movement/speed and its ease of use. Like I said.. it isn’t built like your average speed cube. However, it actually is very good considering the fact that it isn’t built the same way as all of the others. You can actually modify this cube. Under the center tile on each side, if you pull off that tile, you can use a screw driver to tighten or loosen the cube to make it a little bit more personalized to how you “cube.”With all of this in mind, I would say that this cube would be great for beginners interested in just learning how to solve a cube, or just as a small gift to give your kid just to let them mess with, as it is something different and also allows them to exercise their brains while trying to solve it. The cube is very sturdy unless you loosen it up too much, then the cube will pop a corner off if you turn to hard/fast on a corner cut. This cube would also be great just to buy for yourself, just to mess with, or even just to throw on your shelf in your home or in your office at work. It’s actually a super cool/fun conversation starter. Non cubers literally always come ask me if I can solve a cube when they see me messing around with mine. They always end up mind blown when I solve it in front of them. lol

This is such a fun idea, and twist on the original. Though none of us has ever solved the rubiks, its still fun and great for any age! My kids range from little, to barely grown and each one has had so much fun with this. They've even done little contests. I was pleasantly surprised at the price, it's a great deal. Very well made, functions great, no issues.

Certainly a puzzle that's tough to crack! Super fun gift for my nephew and he enjoyed cracking the puzzle. It's smooth and can twist quickly with no issues. A nice finish and weight and he played with it for a long time over several days!

Smooth movement smaller size than the standard cube. The shiny clear design may make it harder for speed cube solving than a traditional cube. It’s a little expensive compared to the basic cube especially for its size. If you have a little girl who loves shiny things this is perfect. If you’re looking to enjoy learning the Rubik’s .. go with the original.

I love solving rubiks cubes and had my eye on this one for a while. I made the mistake of only briefly admiring the cube before messing it up and trying to solve it. I very quickly realized how difficult this thing was, because I thought I was doing good at figuring out the primary color of the pieces until I was on the last face and realized I had a couple that I guessed wrong on.You need good lighting and if you're not using a cheat sheet of some sort, the best of luck to you! I can normally solve a cube in under a couple minutes. This is the first cube I've had in a while that gave me a challenge. I was literally making notes for myself on the color pieces and mapping it out while I went. The finished cube does have some pieces that almost look wrong, but they are in the correct place and the line direction is correct as well.10/10 this was such a refreshingly fun brain teaser. It's displayed on my desk because I was proud of being able to complete it. I'm both excited and dreading having to solve this cube again. If you know someone who enjoys rubiks cubes.. This would be an awesome gift.

It's a great cube! I gave it to my brother for Christmas and he loved it too.
