R&u, Stories & Activities Grade 4

I’m a homeschooling mom with an adopted daughter who was very behind in her reading at the age of eight when we got her. Part of it was that English was not her first language and her parents only spoke Spanish. She also seems to have some PTSD due to experiences that she had in school. When I found this curriculum, for the first time she did not dread her reading work. She is coming along and I am very thankful for this material.

I am a teacher at a public school and needed something for students to work on independently in class while I work with small groups. This was perfect and was in excellent condition.

I tutor after school and in the summer time. Always looking for material that has reading, reading comprehension and language arts in all. My students don't mind reading the short stories and doing the activities that follow. The book also has a good variety of fiction and non-fiction.

Great for keeping learning fresh during the summer. The stories were perfect for helping to decipher the text.
