Waited for a chance to buy this. Worth it.
A chiro student here. Have not used Activators of any types (Type 2 or Type 4) before, so this is my first tool. Once I got it, I used it on someone I know and it worked well! This works similarly to an activator type 2 where the tool just has to be placed at the spot that you desire.Pros:-The box is small, covered in foam when it arrived. Simple manual and instructions are included inside.-This is a great tool if you decide to save some money instead of buying the 'branded' version. (Type 2 and 4)-Lightweight-Small, easy to carry around.-Great quality, great materials.-12 month warranty.-Force is adequate and strong (at least for me, have not used activator type 2 or type 4 yet).-Adjustment is gentle (as long as the setting is right depending on which body part you are planning to aim).-Precise as it should be.Cons:-Sound of the recoil can be quite loud at times (you'll get used eventually), it is quite loud if it's near my ears.-Recoil can be quite strong on the palm area if a higher setting is used (lower settings have lesser recoil as less force is needed), can lead to pain if you have thinner and smaller hands like me after using the medium setting for a while.-The fingers and the palm rest can be a bit far from one another (I have smaller hands) so the recoil can be felt on the palm area (remember to take breaks).- No carrying case included, sold separately (just a nitpick from me).If the cons doesn't bother you too much, this is a really great tool. I have thinner and smaller hands so the experience varies. Conclusion: This tool is worth the price that you're paying for unless you have used activators of any sort before as your experience might vary if you have used those before. This tool is a great entry point for students/chiropractors/other people if they have not used activators before. At least for now, I won't be able to use it as a primary tool as the recoil strains my hand and there are techniques for me to use. It might change as time goes on.I will recommend this tool to people who use it as their secondary adjusting tool and to people who are really on a budget.

Activator accuracy without the activator price
This has worked wonders for smaller adjustments like TMJ & sinuses. I think I’ve had mine for 7 years now & the mechanism works as well as my activator brand.

Wonderful tool that gives great relief!!
I have been seeing chiropractors for 36 years. I always only had temporary relief! We moved out of the big city where our best chiropractor is located (now 3 hours away). We have tried the few chiros in our area, only to be further injured, due to their lack of expertise!I have been feeling very poorly for a while, so I have not had the energy to travel the 3 hours to our preferred chiro, who, even at best, the adjustments lasted for 2 days each time. My atlas is the one that goes out...always to the right...and at times, this can even make me nauseous, as well as fuzzy-brained, achy all over, and extremely tired. So one day, I was so frustrated, that I gave my neck a whack with the edge of my hand. I had instant relief!! However, I had to continue doing this, and my brain was feeling quite jarred by the impact.I have had come chiros use the activator to adjust me. So, I thought that an activator would be much less jarring than a karate chop to my neck! After I read the comments by the chiro on this product that it can cause serious injury, I was discouraged and did not order it. After another 6 months, my neck was in such terrible pain, that I thought I would give it a try.I was VERY careful, due to the fear inflicted on me by those chiros' comments. So, I barely gave it one turn and tried it on my palm. There was barely any impact, so I thought I would start there. After a few very slight taps to my atlas, I felt like a million bucks!!! Now, I must warn others, that if you go stronger and over adjust, that can cause discomfort in a different way (I know). So now, my routine is to use the lowest setting (one turn) and just 3-4 clicks whenever I feel that my neck is out and also when I feel tension in my neck muscles. I am very much in tune with my body. My chiros have been amazed at how much in touch I am with my body. They would adjust me and tell me that I am properly aligned, but then I could feel that something was still out. I would tell them exactly where, and EVERY time, I have been right on! So, I do believe that if you want to work on your own body, there needs to be a certain level of sensitivity to your body. After 30 years of misalignment, I know my body and what it needs! If I had to get an adjustment every time I needed one, I would be at the Dr. 2x per week! That would be very costly as well as time-consuming! And, as of late, I have lost confidence in chiropractors. Even our best one threw out my hip and I was limping for weeks, until I figured out how to realign my hip on my own. Over the years, I have learned to do the side posture to adjust my low back, my DH adjust my thoracic over a chair and with this nifty new tool, I am chiro-free!!! Soooooo happy, because I felt like I couldn't move anywhere, or travel for any length of time due to being chained to our chiro! Now, I feel a new freedom that I have not had since 1980 (when I fell and injured my back). Thank you, Amazon, for making this available!!I took off one star, because the setting will not stay in position. Withe each click, it spins and moves. If it were not for this defect, I would have given it 10 stars!!!

The Doctor Loves it!
I've returned a few similar items to various companies, but....I asked the Doc what he thinks of this particular tool to which he replied, "Order another!"

Just as good as Activator
As a practicing DC, I bought this a back up to my regular adjusting instrument. In some ways, I like this one better.

Didn’t work
Bought it and the spring loading never worked. Didn’t have a chance to return it so I’m stuck with a broken instrument.
