Awesome replacement and still going strong a year and a half later

Installation was straightforward, the screws are a bit tight on the Bose sound link mini I , but once removed, drop the new battery in. The Bose was dead and couldn't be charged, but this replacement battery brought it back to life. Fast delivery, good price and warranty to extend the life of a pretty darn nice speaker.

This particular battery was on the lower end of the price scale as a replacement for my Bose Mini speaker. On top of that, this "kit" also included the Torx-8 "screwdriver" tool needed to replace the battery. This is not a common household tool, so you will need one. I was surprised how tight the screws were installed in my speaker. It took quite a bit of force to unscrew them, but the tool did the job. I charged the battery up and it powered the speaker right up. I only tested it for a few minutes, but it worked fine. Will play it for a longer period sometime in the next few weeks and submit and new review if it doesn't hold a good charge. So far, I'm happy with this purchase.

I love my Bose speaker and when the battery died I was very disheartened. I finally found this battery as a replacement and decided to try it. Fits perfectly and works without a hitch.I would recommend this battery to anyone who is looking to resurrect their Bose speaker,

I feel a little (very little) bad about writing a review a year after purchasing. However, it has only been used for a few hours. When I first put it in my Mini-Link it seemed to work fine. I was really proud of myself for replacing the battery instead of just buying a new speaker. It now has fewer than 20 hours on it and is basically worthless. It functions for an hour or so but then farts out. I mean really farts out, as in the unit gives a farting noise then quits. It's made in China. I just ordered another replacement by OUWEE that has Bose stated on the label and it reads that the cells are made in Japan. $26.39 plus free Prime shipping. It resembles the factory battery that lasted 9 years with 1000's of hours on it.

After about a month or so, this battery has worked as advertised. I'm finally able to take my speaker off the charger and be mobile with it again.

I love the awesome sound quality of my Bose Soundlink Mini and never want to use another portable Bluetooth speaker again after trying several useless ones with five star reviews. The original battery started dying on me so I decided to order this replacement battery and now I can enjoy the rich sound from my Bose Soundlink Mini again. The included screwdriver is very handy. I would strongly recommend this replacement battery. Let’s hope it lasts long.
