Is this the Ergobaby 360 model? The name is very confusing!

It is very confusing and our baby won’t go in it he seems very uncomfortable. I’ve asked the company but no reply.

What is the difference between omni 360 premium cotton and Cool air mesh? Can’t I use both all year round?

I am not sure. I think what material they use. Mine has mess and used all year. Not suppose to put baby in a full body coat as bad for their hips. We did with our first and he was fine but didn’t know. For our second I knew and used a coat panel with to keep legs warm And a coat on baby.

Do I need an infant insert for my 3m baby (5.4kg)? It says need the insert for 0-4mth (5.5kg). But maybe already 5.4kg.

insert is used to make sure baby is snugged in nicely and wont slip out. I bought it but hardly used it as baby grow quickly. weight is a criteria but what matters more is baby volume

Does this carrier have a hood to go over baby’s head?

Yes. It has sort of a canopy which is folded into the front piece when not in use
