This was a replacement for the same model I have had since Feb 2014 (over nine years of almost daily use). It's versatile and offers different cooking modes, and the controls/display are easy to understand and use. This is the only oven I have and is fitted into the kitchen units - see photo.It was also on a 23% discount and interest-free credit over five months. It was a great bargain as well.Ordered yesterday and delivered at about 10:00 a.m. today. The driver kindly carried the large, heavy package into my kitchen. I unpacked it and tested it. All functions are working; now I need to remove the old microwave from the cabinet and put the new one in.

This is only the 3rd one of these ovens/microwaves we have had in 30 years. They are absolutely excellent, versatile and indispensable.

Our previous microwave which lasted a good 10+ years and was really good died on us so we were looking for something just as good. This microwave is just as good if not better, easy to use pre-set cook/defrost functions on the front make cooking in this a breeze. Warning- will render your oven useless hahaThe defrost function is really a life saver, taking meat straight out of the freezer and being able to cook it after 10 minutes saves a lot of hassle.One negative point is that it is quite noisy at at times, but then again I don't think you can buy a silent microwave. Its not that much of a problem but just wanted to highlight that, also it has quite a large back, if your trying to fit it into a cabinet or restricted space. We tried to fit it into our cabinet but for one, the door handle protrudes outwards so closing the cabinet door was a problem, we had to cut out the back of the cupboard to make it fit. So warning again, it is much larger than you would think, factoring the door handle especially so the measurements they provide are a bit short.The microwave itself comes with 2 microwavable baking trays, a round microwavable plate and a two tier metal microwavable stand. For what your getting i would say this is pretty good value for money. It really fits in well with most kitchen decor theme.

My previous oven had a crappy conventional oven that had to be set way above recommended temps to cook with but this does well to match a fixed oven's performance, maybe with 10 degrees added, touch controls are easy to clean and the combi modes work well as does the microwave with no noticable hotspots. Conventional oven also seems to have a decent heat spread when using a fixed shelf, it's also big enough to put a casserole dish on the turntable.Downsides are an interior light that's not very powerful, a temperature sensor for the conventional oven that will show the actual temperature while heating but once it reaches the target temp it only shows the target. If you open the door and close it again the temperature will not show any drop off. My mum has an older version of this that shows the real time temp at all times, don't know why that's been changed. There's a power saving feature that shuts down the display when not being used which is good but you have to open the door to activate, would be better if a button push brought it all to life.

This unit is very useful. It works as a Microwave for heating up everyday food. It's also a fully fledged oven. It comes with a rectangular tray and also 2 wired platforms. This is ideal for when you are entertaining and need another oven. One other added benefit is that it has a grill function so browning a bit of brown sugar on a crème brulé is easy to do. It's a sort of swiss army knife of kitchen gadgets. Very handy as I use it everyday.

I have had two now. The first lasted over 12 years the second is over 5 years old. I purchased one for my mother-in-law when her oven failed around 6 years ago, and she has never bothered to replace the main oven.My latest purchase is for my own mother who doesn't now require the use of a domestic oven and she loved ours so much when she stayed over at Christmas that this is the reason for this purchase.My first oven was actually given away to my sister-in-law as the illuminated display was going a bit dim. The oven is still going strong.4 ovens and no complaints, means I can honestly say I don't know of a better oven for the price or reliability.Will Cook a frozen chicken or leg of lamb in less than an hour, to perfection you have never seen from your domestic oven. Defrosting is a thing of the past.Baked potatoes done on the automatic cook function come out crispy skinned and so soft inside.There are a number of automatic cooking modes for frozen, chilled meals. Cooked by weight input.Use it like a domestic oven, or combination of Microwave and oven, or Grill and Microwave, or grill on its own, or just microwave.Well done Sharp for manufacturing such a reliable capable cooking machine.
