I would think you could, but I don't wear them. The inserts work very good.

No, you wouldn’t have to be a certain weight to use them. I believe the manufacturer is claiming they are strong enough to provide support to people up to a certain weight. Some inserts are probably not as strong, and under a certain weight they may not hold their supportive shape like these inserts would.

Q: I have sort of wide feet, sz 7 1/2 to 8. Since that size isn't an option, Would i go size up or down for correct arch fit?

I would go up because the inserts could be trimmed down if necessary.
