Bought this camera to secure an area of my property that is way too far for wifi coverage. Installation was easy, set up was smooth, and the first free 300 MB of data and one month of cloud service all worked well.Image is crisp and clear in high definition, and motion detection and alert function all works flawlessly for me. Exactly what I needed and does exactly what it says on the tin.I had a query about cloud service subscription and data, so used the in app customer service contact function. I have to say I was very *very* impressed. Responses were fast and very helpful. In a world where you’re typically on the phone and in a queue waiting to speak to someone who is reading from a script, this was a breath of fresh air. I purchased a few of these as we had issues with intruders and put them on three corners of the house front, back and side. We've had them for over a year now and they've proved to be very reliable, good quality cameras that offers great viewing and functionality with the tilting up & down, plus the 180 degrees pan. The initial set up was very user friendly and extremely easy to do. The HD quality frames are very good offering clear pictures and the solar panels have kept it in charge within around 90-100% range in good weather when in non full recording mode (motion trigger on 20-30 second recording mode) During the UK winter when it's pretty wet and cold, the battery does diminish quicker as to be expected. It's a simple job to detach from the bracket and it only takes a few hours to charge indoors. I've also purchased the yearly cloud recording service and it saves them for 30 days, of which you can also download the recordings immediately or alternatively you could save them on an SD card. I chose the 4G cellular standalone connection as opposed to WiFi as I preferred the ease and convenience of having them on independent mobile networks, without having to physically connect them to a WiFi router or be at the mercy of intermittent WiFi connections. That has also proved to be a good choice. Finally the customer service has been very prompt, friendly and very helpful when I've had minor issues, which a refreshing change. Overall I'm very happy with this product and service. I would highly recommend & would purchase this brand and from this company again in the future.

I purchased this camera for surveillance on a garage, but I have that is not connected to my home and has no power supply or wireless coverage. I was a little sceptical as to how reliable a 4G solar powered camera would be but so far it's been bulletproof and this is in the English autumn where there is little sunshine. The camera was easy to set up and worked straight away I put in a SIM card from SPUSU, which was very cheap for the amount of monthly data I needed. The quality is very good. The app works well and it does everything I need it to. The customer service has been excellent. Kikki from support emailed me after my purchase and offered a discounted cloud storage deal, which I have taken her up on. Overall, very impressed.

The SIM usable in any country at a great rate. Easy to install and pair with phone. After sale care first rate with extended warranty and customer service by Kiki.

This camera is very good quality and easy to set up and install on your phone.I had some issues with the solar panel and it holding charge. But when I got in contact with the customer service they were very helpful and quick to respond and my issue was resolved very quickly. My camera is working great and gives me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend this product.

We bought this camera with little expectation due to its competitive price. It arrived promptly. My husband and I are not very techy so together we unboxed it wondering how difficult it was to set up and how long it would take us. Well!!! Everything was sorted within 15 mins!! It was SO easy to do with the instructions provided. The App is easy to use and set up your preferences and also allows access for both is us on different devices. The image is very clear. The night camera superb and the streaming excellent. I even viewed with no issues from Dubai!We had a very small issue when the camera disconnected and then righted itself but I had already logged an error with the support team (again very easy to do through the App)The Service Agent that picked up my log was extremely efficient! He didn’t just exit once he knew the fault had resolved itself. He advised of the available 3 year warranty we hadn’t taken advantage of and also offered us a free gift.Joey you were an absolute pleasure to deal with. If playback was easier to configure it would be an unparalleled product. Good picture, no drop outs from network although I am close to a 4g mast. Solar seems to work well, battery always charging and full during the day. Used my own SIM

This camera set up is absolutely brilliant!! No WiFi at my work unit and needed some sort of surveillance keeping an eye on the place. This set up has been spot on.. the picture, night mode, can remotely move it around and sound function for either way, I had one little issue which I found out was an error of mine, customer service was second to none Annabelle was so helpful and even offered a gift of a years cloud service. I can’t fault it and would highly recommend.. absolutely spot on.

First of all the support is outstanding. I had a few questions and got help from several guys and a gal named Kiki. They always responded within the same day if not within minutes. Somehow Xega has managed to put together a support team that rivals any I have experienced. Now - for the hardware. I am using this to monitor my rural raw land 2000 miles away from where I live, while a driveway gets started and eventually a home build - this is in the mountains. I have yet to try it there but am going to next week. I know that Verizon is available on the road next to my property so we are only going to know if we get 4G signal after we get there and put it on a tree and try it out. To prepare for this I have tried this at home and it works great. If you are like me and are questioning all the steps involved in getting service from the SIM they provide, it is really simple and I would suggest using YouTube University for that. One question that support replied to was - how do I know the best service is where I am going? I was questioning if you had to buy T-Mobile or Verizon or ATT....its simple - when you buy your data plan you get all 3 and it selects the best one when you power on the hardware and hooks you to the right signal seamlessly. I paid about $80 for 6-GBytes of data. They referred to the plan as a 6 month plan but that is just because the average user goes through 10GB per month. I tried it and gauged my use by watching the video live and then logging off and looking at the data total you have left - easy to monitor. In the little time over 2-3 weeks just minimally testing triggers and live feed - I think it starts at 6.128GB and I am now at 5.997GB. Time is going to tell how much I use and if it triggers too often. That is the next subject - triggers. It has a setting of High-Med-Low. Even on low it was pretty trigger happy. Like my Blink it doesn't have a way to set exclusion zones in the field of view - say like if a tree limb always blows and moves in the wind - there is no way to exclude that zone and if you have that issue then data is going to get wasted. The final thought that I already fed to Xega suuport team is the way it uses 4G data. I was told that any time you turn on that app it is using 4G data. I understand that if you are looking at a live feed or video on your SD memory or have to set options on the hardware because that data has to go over the air from your phone app to the hardware and return, but what if you just want to look at video or photos on the cloud? I might not have understood that right but that is how I interpreted what they told me. I might edit this again after I try it next week - now the hardware gets a 4 and support a 5 out of 5. /Update 12-16-23 - I've had this for 4 months at our mountain property and it has been awesome. The solar panel is keeping this thing running beautifully and the images are awesome - deer and squirrels and watching snow storms from 1800 miles away. I should have got 2 and put them up. Great value. And did I say the support was awesome.

Positiv: Kamera lässt sich sehr einfach aktivieren & montieren. Habe die bereits installierte SIM Karte aufgeladen (12,90 EUR für 30 Tage / unbegrenztes Datenvolumen (wird aber nach 20 GB gedrosselt) + 3,99 EUR für 30 Tage Cloud Service. Andere Datenpläne sind mit unrerschiedlichsten Laufzeiten sind ebenfalls wählbar. Andere SIM Karten werden ebenfalls unterstützt. Die Hardware funktioniert tadellos. Bild und Videoqualität sind sehr gut und der Bewegungssensor funktioniert tadellos.Negativ: Bedienungsanleitung unklar formuliert, vermutlich nur oberflächlich aus dem Chinesischen übersetzt. Ebenfalls verwirrend die Beschreibung der verfügbaren Datenpläne in der App. / Datenverkehrsanzeige via QR code in der App. funktioniert nicht ( was mich bei 20GB Datenvolumen auch nicht wirklich interessiert).
