Is there a bar in middle to support 130lb dogs?

We have the large dog bed and we gave a German Shepherd that's about 100 lbs. She fits on the bed comfortably.

Is fabric supposed to be taunt when stretched between the posts? As such, I had no problem anchoring the frame

The fabric was somewhat taunt when we assembled ours. But it "gives" when our 90 lb Lab gets on it.

Do these actually hold up well if left outside?

I expect the canvas will rot if left in the hot sun. My dog loves it. Nice that she doesn't get bald elbows from laying on the cement.
