Stop buying the old straplocks
Every now and then a product comes out and you say "Well F'ing DUH! Why didn't I think of this thing?!" Well designed, simple, and it just works, on any standard guitar strap button, on any guitar strap. It makes so much sense rather than screwing with regular straplocks that always come with screws smaller than the stock ones, but the stock ones won't fit in the strap locks so now you have to glue toothpicks into the holes on your brand new guitar to make their Pansie ass little screws work.... Just buy these things and be done with it 30 seconds.

Good buy.
I just bought a set of these strap locks to give them a try. I installed them easily on a new strap I bought for my bass guitar. Installation was simple. They are made of plastic so they do not add noticeable weight to the strap. I tried them on all of my basses. Fender Jazz and P bass, Rickenbacker, Warwick, and Lakland. The strap locked on to all the strap pins easily. I wiggled and pulled on the strap to try to jar it loose with no luck. When I did want to release it I pushed to two release tabs and it released easily. I am a nut about scratches and chips on my basses so I installed the optional rubber protection pads that come with the strap locks. Overall a good buy. I will probably buy another set for my other favorite strap.

A decent strap lock system.
These are not high end, but they do the job. So far I liked them enough to place a second order for a couple more sets. The only issue I have is not their fault, it just having to mount them differently depending on where the strap connector is. But they are easy to install. seem sturdy and work well.

Perfect, Almost…
I love these strap locks. I probably have 5 sets of them. I use these on both acoustic and electric guitars. I did have to buy the adapters for each of the acoustics so I can plug in the instrument cable. I keep my guitars in a case and take the strap off before putting it away and don’t want to woller out the leather hole and use these to keep the leather in good condition. My one knock is that the protective pads don’t stay attached. I never have issues on the jack side but always on the neck side. The first set of pads lasted about a week before they started to peel off. I used super glue to reattach and that lasted 6+ months but came off again. The description says it’s scratch resistant but I don’t trust that on my expensive acoustic guitars.I started looking at felt washers but found silicone strap locks. Amazon has a 30 pack of clear ones for less than a pack of picks and are the same circumference as the roc locks. These disappear when the rok-lock is attached. I use one between the rok-lock and guitar. You do have to take the pad off or it’s too tight. Has worked very well so far and there is no wobble from the lock now.I do make some thicker guitar straps that are hard to get these to fit. There was an XL version that had a longer screw but I don’t see those anymore and was looking forward to trying that variant but it wasn’t to be found. There were also different colors at one time and those seemed to disappear as well. The black is fine for most things but there is a white strap in my future that a white rok-lock would have worked well on.

Simply the best strap locks!
I happened to see these on Facebook or something and decided to pull the trigger and I'm glad I did. I've had multiple other styles, and they come lose, or they won't work on other styles, etc. Simply put: these are the best strap locks I've used. So much, I think I've bought 7 or 8 sets now. The look great, fit ANY guitar or bass button, and they're a great value for the price. I've had no issues.

It's a good idea but not executed as well as it could be
I really wanted to like this product. It was easy to install, no need to install new strap pins, it matches my strap nicely, and customer service was helpful in answering my questions. It seems to lock well and is easy to get on and off my guitars (an electric and a semi-hollow body). Here's the issue: there's a big gap between the lock and the guitar body. It knocks around if you move around. They include a rubber sticker for padding, but it's really thin. I didn't want to risk my strap lock knocking against my guitar, causing noise and potentially dinging my guitar. I considered getting a think, fuzzy, cloth washer, but then I'd have to get a pair for each guitar, size it correctly, and then cut out the center (or make a slit) so that it goes around the pin. Too much hassle for something that shouldn't need any modifications. Going back to standard strap locks.
