...R2D2 has a twin! And this little "robot" has made my adult coloring even more fun than I could have imagined. It's not just for kids! This is one heck of a versatile unit that sharpens most pencil thicknesses and does so in your choice of 3 options - blunt, sharp and pin-sharp. They couldn't have built a better little tool that does the work for you -- even to the point of grabbing the pencil from your insertion of it, sharpening it to your choice, then releasing it back out to you when finished. Removing accumulated shreds is a breeze with just a twist of its "head" and, if you ever needed to replace the helical blade inside --- EVER --- you can do so and find it on Amazon as well. Follow instructions on how to release and insert a helical blade -- it's not readily obvious and you may think you'll damage the unit.A full USB-C charge is retained for months on end...I've only had to charge it 3 times in about 6-8 months and I'm ALWAYS using it. One word of precaution that I learned on my first recharge: USE THE USB-C CABLE THAT COMES WITH IT! For some reason, my other USB-C cables would not show an active recharge light and I actually thought my little robot was broken. It wasn't (and I learned this direct from the manufacturer). Since that informative call it's been charging up consistently every time. Something else you should know: on a rare occasion I will discover one of my pencils had a broken core and the helical blade would sense sharpening was finished, but when the pencil retracted, I would see that the broken core had remained in the blade. Just shake it clear and try resharpening. If it keeps happening, you had a damaged pencil or that broken piece is still stuck in the blade -- you don't have a damaged unit. There's not much more to relay about this little puppy accept that I will never consider any other type of sharpener again -- and how wonderful it is to be able to say that!!!

I can not speak more highly about this sharpener. I WILL NEVER buy another sharpener again. This is perfect for any classroom. It is so easy to use, it gets your pencil sharp every single time. It lasted me over a year with no issues. I got the gray so the color isn't anything thrilling but it is exactly as pictured. I love this sharpener, it is amazing!

I am a colored pencil artist and I have tried so many different pencil sharpeners. This is my all time favorite!!! I love how it automatically pushes the pencil down into the camber as well as releases it back to the top. This sharpener makes the longest, sharpest point to use for fine detail. It also has several different points to pick from a very little point to a very long sharp point and more to choose from in between. The easiest sharpener I have used to date with a large camber to catch and hold all the pencil shavings. I would buy again!

This is the best pencil sharpener ever! I am a math teacher so it gets used very often. The students love to watch it go. It is very easy to empty to clean. My teacher friends have all order one for their rooms as well. It is also quite enough that it does not disturb me during teaching. It performs great and unlike a lot of other pencil sharpeners it lasted a whole school year and is still going.

My 2nd grade students have used this pencil sharpener all school year and it’s held up wonderfully! We’ve added some embellishments and gave him a name. The only downside that I’ve found is that sometimes softer pencil leads break off at the tip and then the sharpener doesn’t make a nice sharp point. But, after removing the broken pencil lead tip, it goes back to sharpening as normal. This is an easy sharpener for the kids to use and it’s not very loud. Definitely one of the best classroom purchases I’ve ever made!

This is an absolutely phenomenal sharpener! It allows my Kindergarten students so much independence to bring it around the classroom and use it during projects. I’ve got at least two of them and they’ve worked beautifully. The battery life is pretty long which is great but I need to recharge it more frequently due to its consistent use.Overall, this is an incredible product and a staple for anyone’s classroom or workspace!

Edit: Since I posted this review the company reached out to me send me a video and assisted me in fixing the problem. I will encourage people to buy this product. Going forward please respond to your customers so you can continue receiving great reviews as it is a great product.It was great while it worked however, it did not even last one full school year. As a teacher our budgets are stretched and so I was very excited to purchase this product. I was the only one using it and I even kept the box. My students did not have access to it. So to my surprise it stopped working 9 months into owning it. When I reached out to customer service through their website and whatsapp no response. Although this product has great potential as a teacher I cannot justify spending that kind of money and not even getting a school years worth of use.
