Life Changing, and Superb Customer Service
Hey folks. I bought this model of Eufy while on sale a little over six months ago, and have used it daily since. Thinking about buying one? Do it. No regrets here, and I wish I had purchased one when I first began thinking about it a year and a half ago.I live next to the Gulf Coast in Florida, and coastal living = constant sand. Fine, white quartz sand ends up in your home constantly regardless of how many rugs and floor mats you place at entranceways. Our home is completely tiled, and the powdery sand sticks to everything, so it’s a never ending battle keeping the floors clean. We used to sweep pretty much daily in the morning, and then use a hand vac around corners in the evening just to keep up with it. We also have one cat, a Great Pyrenees, and an English shepherd, so sweeping daily was necessary to keep fur from drifting into giant globs in corners and under furniture. After purchasing the Eufy, and charging it up, we no longer have to sweep every day. The eufy is simply fantastic at getting up all the pet fur and sand. Instead of sweeping every morning, I now stare off vacantly out the window while drinking my coffee, and the eufy sweeps for me.My five year old named our Eufy “Mumford” and we created a face cut out from a roll of white window cling vinyl (purchased the white vinyl window cling on amazon too- it’s meant for those Cricut machines) for the little guy. Mumford is now a treasured family member. For reference, my house is all tile and is about 1500 square feet. The eufy can clean our dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and playroom on a single charge, but since it doesn’t map out the rooms, I do place it in one room at a time, and block it off or shut the door. It does fine if I don’t block it off, but takes longer to get the job done. Since I keep the common areas clutter free, it is no trouble running the eufy every morning. I have my kiddos pick up anything on the floor, and then we hit the button and go about getting breakfast ready. If you are messier, or have a lot of clutter in your home- a Eufy probably isn’t the answer. It can’t do a good job if it isn’t able to roam around freely to vacuum. It fits under all of our furniture, and maneuvers well around my oak dining tables and chairs. If your home is very large and multi level, and you don’t want to pay attention - you may want something that maps your home. Eufy bumps around haphazardly, and when you leave it on long enough and run it consistently, it does a great job. I do not run it when we aren’t home, and I do not run it at night when we are sleeping. The last thing I want is for one of the dogs or the cat to get sick, and then have eufy run over the mess. Eeew. If you have pets, don’t make that mistake. If your home is larger than 1500 square feet, you’ll likely have to clean different sections at a time maybe on different days or nights of the week.Customer service is fantastic. After six months of daily use, our unit had a malfunction. The bumper on the right side would stick, and our unit would spin constantly clockwise. I contacted Eufy, and they did some troubleshooting with me, and when that didn’t fix the problem, I was sent a brand new unit. They emailed me a free return label to ship my old one back to them at no charge. All in all this is an excellent and helpful product, and the company that makes it is reliable and true to the warranty. I know several people that own one and love it, and have recommended it to friends and family members.Buy one!!!!!!

Best purchase ever! Have had this 1 year!
I have had this vacuum for over a year now since Nov 2018, and this has been the best purchase ever. I literally run this thing 1 time a day, and sometimes 2 times a day, everyday, for the last year!We had a long-haired cat, so there is always fur. Our house is about 3000 sq ft, spread throughout 3 levels. We have dark hardwoods throughout our main floor, with many low pile area rugs. On the same level is a bathroom with tile and rugs, and a couple of bedrooms with a medium pile carpet. The vacuum moves freely throughout that level of my home, moving between hardwood, carpet, rugs, and tile with no issue! The only thing you have to watch for is cords and shoelaces. I solved that problem by tying some of my cords in a way where they don’t drag on the ground, or I use the boundary strips under some furniture pieces where I tuck the cords behind the strips. And don’t forget to pick up your shoes. But if it ever does get caught on a cord, cellphone charger, or shoelace, it has not damaged it; it simply causes the vacuum to get stuck and caught. I have found it easy to pull the item from the vacuum to “unwind” it. I empty the canister in between each “run”, although I have found that you can get away with 2 runs before you must empty, but it’s pretty full. It’s simple to empty, you dump it in the trash and use the provided brush tool to brush out the dust. My mom saw me doing it and thought what’s the point of having a robo vac if you have to do that, but I told her the 30 seconds it takes each day to empty the canister, is worth my time of not having to vacuum and sweet my 1000 square foot of floors on my first floor of my house. We also have another 1000 sq ft finished basement that we rarely use, but I carry it down there occasionally and let it run down there too. That floor is vinyl with area rugs, and again no issues, or moves between hard floor and low pile rug just fine. The only thing is bc the docking station is upstairs, I just have to go down and retrieve the vacuum after a few hours to bring it up to the charger docking station, but it’s not a big deal to me...still I love this thing so much, that I plan to get a second one to keep on that level of my house since my basement is a big room. Our third level is more bedrooms and bathrooms, which is again carpet and tile, these bathrooms have high pile rugs. It does sometimes have trouble going over the high pile rugs in the bathroom, but not where it has gotten stuck, it just usually bunches up the rug and pushes it to the side. So often I just pick up the rugs and set on the toliet so it can move around and vacuum in the bathroom better. On the carpets it always seems to collect more dirt and hair, probably bc my cat likes to lay there, so I typically only run it one time on the carpet and then need to empty the filter and remove any hair tangle from the vacuum brush. Also, I take apart the filter and clean it with mild soap and water once a quarter. So not every month as they suggest, but every few months. This seems to be find. I have replaced the filter a few times and bought a 12 pack of replacement filters and brushes for like $12 on Amazon. Have only had to use a few so far! Also since I use this every day, I don’t find that I have to regularly vacuum my area rugs or my hardwoods. It is just my husband and I, so many days we never even walk through out living or dining room, and the eufy is enough keep it maintained until it is time to mop. I do additionally still sweep in my kitchen with a broom as needed bc that is a high traffic area and there is food that can drop. Also the bedrooms that are carpet and also a high traffic area, I do still vacuum with my upright, but I found that having this Eufy supplementing my upright vac is a great help with all the pet hair! The noise level is not bad. It obviously had to make noise, but it is significantly quieter than my upright when you run it on the standard level, which I typically do. The max suction level is louder, but I usually only use that in our master bedroom if I want a deeper level clean on our carpet. Also sometimes it goes over larger things (such as a plastic ice crystal that fell off a Christmas garland or the shell of a cat nail) and does not pick them up (it sort of shoots them out behind it), but it’s not a big deal to me, bc I gets all the pet fur, human hair, dust, and dirt, which are the main things I want it to get. The rare things it can’t pick up, I can get myself.Bottom line is anyone who has pets, and a lot of open square footage, should get this! A couple hundred bucks for something that you will use every day is so so so worth it!I have never wrote a review this long, but that is how much I love and recommend this vacuum. I have lots to say about it bc I use it so much. I really do plan to eventually get a second one for another level in my home. Also I think this would make a great gift for someone who is “techy” and just enjoyed gadgets, or it would make a great gift from adult children to their mother, as this would save her a lot of time.
