It's a miracle in a bottle!
I'm 41 and I've never had real issues with my scalp. This might be a long review, but I hope the read is with it to someone. I can only speak to how this shampoo worked for my problem, but here's the honest to God truth...I noticed bumps forming on my scalp over the last 4 months. They weren't itchy and I didn't notice any dryness. I asked my hairdresser about them bc they were now becoming something I was becoming self conscious about. She attributed them to using the same shampoo for a while and recommended switching it up and provided me with a list of shampoos. She also said something about a scalp treatment with mint or rosemary or something like that (I can't remember honestly) that she said would tingle and feel really good. I was super excited for a possible solution. Now at this point, I was also noticing that I was picking at the bumps, causing scabbing; gross, I know. Well, I switched up my shampoo and after a couple weeks, no change. In fact, bc of my obsessive picking, those scabs were now sores and actually bleeding a ton. My husband was horrified at what I was doing to make a bad situation worse.I hopped on trusty ol' Amazon and started looking up treatments for scabs and crap like that. Of course everything for psoriasis and other chronic issues popped up, but not having dealt with anything like this except for the last few months, I was a little overwhelmed with all the options.I found this product and for whatever reason, decided to pull the trigger and purchase it. The price was fair, it seemed to cover a bunch of scalp issues, and the reviews were encouraging. It arrived to my house 4 days ago. I did my first wash with it the day it came. Fast forward 3 days in a row of using it and my scalp is almost completely healed!! I'm not blowing smoke, getting a kick back from the company, or is someone that has a stake in the shampoo game. I am just genuinely relieved, happy, thrilled, and all the other things that when literally after only 3 washes, my scalp was incredibly improved, probably back to 95% normal. I'm finding there is nothing to pick which of course had also helped the healing! It says no scent, but I honestly think it kind of smells like chocolate lol. A little goes a long way. I used about a 1 in circle on my palm and it lathered nicely. There is no weird residue or feeling to my hair. I left it on my scalp for about 2-3 min as it suggests. I'm so impressed with the quality of this shampoo and how it truly helped me!I really hope my experience may help someone, but if this is a hail Mary type of purchase like mine was, this is where you should start!!!

Healing my folliculitis bumps & scabs!
I hate my scalp ever since I turned 40. I’m 42 and am dealing with perimenopause. Whatever hormonal imbalance I have going on is wreaking havoc on my scalp; my hair is falling out, my scalp gets buildup easily, and I break out with painful folliculitis very easily. I’m an anxious picker by nature, so I tend to mess with the bumps and create scabs.I’ve been trying scalp rinses (like the Inkey List’s Glycolic Acid) and medicated shampoos like Nizoral (one of the better shampoos I’ve tried). I’m still having breakouts, so I decided to try T-Sal.It’s WORKING! My scalp doesn’t feel too dry, and it definitely feels cleaner. Less build-up by day 2-3 of no washing. My scabs are healing and I haven’t had a new breakout or bump since starting it. I use it 2x/week and always double wash; first I wash with this stuff to clean my scalp and get rid of buildup & oil and make sure to let it sit for ~3-5 mins, then I do a second wash with a more hydrating shampoo. Works like a charm!I just wish it had a better scent, but I’m sure fragrance-free is better for me. Prior to this I was also using Neutrogena’s Healthy Scalp clarifying shampoo (pink bottle), which smells like fresh, juicy grapefruit. That one cleans oil from my hair well and helps remove product buildup. I might use that AND t-sal now!Highly recommend it if you have scalp issues or irritations. 👍🏼

Good for hair and acne too!
It has an astringent scent to it, and though it is a small bottle for what you pay, it is effective as a face wash as well, due to the active ingredients. It does leave my hair a bit dry after using it as a shampoo, so I follow up with a gentle conditioner and/or rosemary oil. I let my hair air dry afterwards, and the result is soft, bouncy hair. Good quality for money.

The only thing that works!
This is the only thing that helps my scalp! Since moving back to Florida, my scalp has decided to develop almost like small pimples that keep coming back. I thought it was just the well water where we were living but after moving house to a home with city water it hasn't changed No matter what I do, i've tried all kinds of other things to get rid of it. And the only thing that works is this! within a day of my cycle, my scalp will break out unbearably like it hurts to brush, mine will come in as clusters of a few in one place idk why but it is what it is, this will get rid of that within a couple of days! my scalp is completely healed! The painful tiny blister like what i call zits lol are gone! But my ends Hate this shampoo, however the effectiveness of the product is awesome so I'll deal with it! I pair it with the grow long leave in spray conditioner I also get here on Amazon and my hair is great and the relief is amazing! I wish they made a bigger bottle tho! I have hair down to about my middle back, but i only use this on my scalp as I said, so it lasts me about a month per bottle and I let it sit while I shave my legs etc, and rinse very well because it is thick! The smell isn't an issue for me because my leave in smells great and I only smell that once my hair is dried. As for shine well it doesn't do that since it's sort of drying for my naturally wavy hair.
