Technoline WS 9140 classic weather station with radio clock, indoor and outdoor temperature display, silver, 7.3 x 2.5 x 15.8 cm

I bought this Temperature because it records indoor and outdoor temperatures. My son-in-law has a similar one (same make) and I was impressed with the distance the outdoor censor can send the signal. I have had problems with other makes. Excellent performance and price. Jeff Lee, Guernsey

Wow this is very good

Looks a bit plasticky but works perfectly, not as good a build quality as previous Oregon scientific thermometer.Very easy to set up and is working fine with the outdoor sensor, placed in a plastic bag 13ft away, so far never failed to drop signal. I find the display is not very bright, the numbers are not as vivid as they could be, and you also have to be fairly close to read everything on it. But its ok for the price and so far working perfectly (had in a month).UPDATE Oct 15. Just realised I've had this over 2 years now and it's been fantastic, I think I judged it too quickly! I still haven't changed the batteries in it and the signal has never dropped either. A very reliable little gadget

For the price when bought, very good value. Not 5* because the display isn't backlit and has to be viewed close-up and at the correct angle. I prefer devices like this to be mains-powered so they can be backlit and don't eat batteries, but this was worthwhile, seems to be German quality and comes with good instructions.

This is the third temperature station I have obtained. The external sensor is in a greenhouse some 20 metres distant. The first two were particularly unreliable with the external temperature dropping out frequently and for long periods, the reason for which remains a mystery. This one experiences the occasional, brief drop-out but is, so far, the best of the three.

I have owned several of these temperature stations over the years, and this one is the most disappointing. It does not show the date and day, and if you thought the remote station would have its own display showing the temperature in your greenhouse - think again, you will still need a thermometer. The min/max function shows only the values for the previous 24 hours, rather than historical information. With ever-advancing technology these missing features should be standard on even the most basic models.If this product were being sold at full price I would say `don't buy it'. At the reduced price it is only just about worthwhile, but there are better products available.

The reciver can not stay on my table, and the senderr can not be on a wall. Bad experience with one of the two Temperature Stations..

I had this bought for me last Christmas and it is going strong on the first set of batteries. I find it interesting to look at particularly in the winter. I think the readings when we finally got a summer were suspect outside because it was getting direct sunlight falling on it for part of the day. I'll have to build something to shade it. At the moment it's strapped to a tree stump.In all though I'm very pleased with it and I think I might buy another one for our flat in Spain. When it's not getting direct sunlight I think it's giving an accurate reading and certainly the inside reading is clearly correct. The max and min values for outside are useful if you're a gardener and want to know if frost is a danger. Now if they only made one that could control the weather ... Failing that, I recommend it.

Preciso, tiene in memoria le temperature sia interne che esterne. Facile da impostare, bello esteticamente e si può utilizzare sia con base che appeso a parete

Habe diese Funkwetterstation gekauft, weil ich nicht zu viel Geld ausgeben, aber eine verlässliche und gut ablesbare Station haben wollte. Und genau das ist sie. Ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht. Sie ist mit 17 x 7,7 cm größer als gedacht. Das hat wiederum zur Folge, dass die (schwarzen) Ziffern auch relativ groß und somit gut abzulesen sind.Einer Ersteinstellung bedarf es nicht, einfach Batterien rein (die es nicht dazu gibt) und aufstellen. Kurz darauf biemen sich Uhrzeit und die Temperaturen auf das Empfangsteil. Sender und Empfänger können sowohl hingestellt, als auch aufgehängt werden. Dazu gibt es für das Empfangsteil einen Fuß, der ohne Werkzeug angebracht werden kann und tatsächlich stabil ist. Was ich täglich brauche, wird übersichtlich angezeigt: Zeit per Funk, Temperatur innen, Temperatur außen und die Minimal/Maximaltemperatur innen und außen. Letztere sind immer sichtbar, und nach belieben per Knopfdruck zu resetten.So sehe ich z.B. morgens, ob es in der Nacht gefroren hat. Zudem ist ein Alarmfunktion vorhanden, die bei Bedarf auch als Wecker benutzt werden kann. Die fehlende Beleuchtungstaste fehlt mir nicht wirklich. Ich gehe jedenfalls nicht im Dunkeln durch meine Wohnung. Also zusammengefasst: Alles richtig gemacht. Gutes Teil und perfektes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis !

En effet, avec la station de température, il est prévu (page 86 du mode d'emploi) un support (et vis) pour le placement de l'émetteur de température contre un mur à l'extérieur. Cela manque, ce qui signifie que je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de l'employer. Et maintenant ?

Lo más simple del mundo de regular. El reloj a pesar de que no lo puedes sincronizar con el atómico de Alemania ( no es coña, dispone de esa función hasta los 1500 km de distancia), va de maravilla y no se desajusta. En cuanto a la lectura de temperatura, vivo justo en frente de una farmacia con cartel que cuenta con termómetro, y variamos en 1/2 grado las lecturas de la calle, con lo que estoy muy contento. Si hecho en falta que la pantalla no se puede retroiluminar, con lo que a cierta distancia cuesta ver los dígitos. Va con pilar pequeñas, no recuerdo si AAA o AA.Pero en general es muy buen producto hecho en Alemania.
