Nice for the price.
I like it and use it as my main espresso scale. It is a good size. Fits well under my machine. It is also good enough to use for pour over but can be on a small size for that if you use a carafe instead of a cup to brew over. It’s accurate and consistent. Easy to use as well to tare and haven’t had an issue with it. The mat that comes with it is t the best but it functions well. Battery life is good. I charge it perhaps once a month but can’t comment on longevity yet.Only feedback or comment to add is that the auto start feature for timing is sometimes finicky a bit and not reliable. So I ended up not using it much. Otherwise would recommend it given the price point, features and the way it looks. More premium than it costs and does the job well.

Maestri House Rechargeable Mini Coffee Scale: A Barista’s Dream for Precision Brewing!
I recently bought the Maestri House Rechargeable Mini Coffee Scale with Timer (2kg/0.1g, Black & Silver), and it’s a total game-changer for my espresso and pour-over coffee! This compact scale (3.74 x 3.93 x 0.75 inches) fits perfectly under my espresso machine and delivers spot-on 0.1g accuracy, making it easy to dial in precise measurements for beans and shots. The built-in auto-timer starts when liquid hits the cup, ideal for tracking espresso pulls (25-30 seconds), and the manual timer is great for pour-overs. The sleek black and silver design with a glass surface looks fantastic, and the USB-C rechargeable battery lasts up to 90 days. The included silicone pad protects it, and the mute option keeps things quiet. Some note the 2kg limit is small for bulk brewing, but it’s perfect for my needs. Highly recommend this affordable, high-quality scale for any coffee lover seeking precision and style!

Just buy it. You won’t regret it.
If you are like me who was looking for something quality with auto timing and a small size for espresso. Don’t think it any further and just get this one. It works great. I was looking at more expensive models and decided to gamble on this one, and I am happy I did. Totally sufficient and actually works very well. I use it daily with a Breville espresso maker to make sure my grinds are dialed in. Admittedly, it’s a bit over-the-top to weigh my grinds, and my kids make fun of me for it, but nonetheless, this is the scale I use, and I love it. Only charged it once so far and been using it for months.

Where have you been all my espresso life?
This thing very much exceeded my expectations. First thing I noticed is how heavy it is. It is a solid work horse with high build quality. It makes my much larger baking scale feel like a toy. It’s much more accurate and wick to respond than my other one as well. And I love the auto timer feature best of all that starts timing as the espresso hits the cup. I can’t imagine what the ones that cost over $100 have on this thing. I couldn’t be happier with it, and it was way more affordable.

Great scale and shot timer; works as advertised
This is a great scale and shot timer. I saw this (or something like this) in a bunch of posts on r/espresso and thought I would give it a try.It does what it is supposed to do. It is easy to read. It is responsive. I especially like the option to have the timer start automatically when weight is added - this is crucial to keep my hands free and get an accurately timed shot. Being able to zero the scale easily is also a plus. This is a graceful (not cumbersome) addition to the espressho shot process. It also looks sharp! Piano black with white text.Great product - thank you!

dead battery in a month UPDATE -UP RATED
I have bought several of these from other sellers. The batteries all failed eventually. I really liked this one. With the glass top, the slightly larger body and the higher price I thought this one might be different. I destroyed one of the other ones to see if I could see the battery, and failed. The battery indicator started flashing on this one after two weeks. I charged it overnight and and it was still flashing. I charged it for another night - I read somewhere to not use a "fast charger" but no definition of how fast. So I used an old Apple original cube because I don't they get any slower than that. Eventually I used it with light flashing for two more weeks before it quit altogether. So I searched most of the other similar ones here - (and there a lot of them) to try again. All of them had reviews mentioning early battery failure. The 4 star ratings appeared to come from people that wrote them after a few uses. I was about to give up and use a huge kitchen scale. But in one of the reviews a guy writes that these don't work with "standard USB C cables". ???? USB C IS A STANDARD!! Anything else is not USBC. Just on a whim, because I had run out of options, I looked around and found a cable that came with one the scales I had bought. I charged it overnight as before. Next morning it came on and the light was not flashing. How many people on this planet have iPhones or something else with a USB C cable and it's already plugged into a charger, and naturally used it to charge this scale rather than use the cheap short one that came with the scale and came without a charger? I'm not changing my rating from 1 star because they must know that and should have a sticker on the front of the scale saying to use only their cheap nonstandard cable.I will look up this review when it quits working for good. If it makes it past one year it will be my favorite scale. When I started this odyssey I had hoped for a couple of years. Now I will settle for one.I should note my main use: Aeropress, at least five or six times every day - weighing the Dose and monitoring the Brew Time. Almost any of these type things will work fine for that with a minimal countertop footprint...unless they fail.Update - Uprated: So. I recharged it with their cheap short cable. The charge lasted at least twice as long as the original charge it came with. The next time the charge light came on I watched it and it only took about an hour to charge up.I'm still mad that I threw two other ones away. But I have to uprate this from One Star to 5.I like it.It seems to be easier than the others to keep from going from grams to something else. And I wish the "auto" function would go away but it shows a big AUTO notice on the screen so it's hard to miss if you get it turned on accidentally. I only do americanos with my expresso machine so it wouldn't work with that anyway.Bottom line - this one is better than the others I've bought hands down. I hope I don't have to buy another soon. It's smaller than the largest one, nice glass top, and more readable display. Most of these ads look the same but they are all different in some ways. All of them are repeatable so if you use a dosing cup for instance it weighs the same every time to the 10th g, or minus g if it' removed.I can only attest to Aeropress or Kalita pour overs but it's the best of the four I have tried.

Perfect for espresso
Nice little scale, feels well made. The readout is bright and clear. The automatic timer works just as it should. There are pads on the bottom instead of little round feet so it sits on the grate of my espresso machine nicely. The scale seems to be quite accurate and is consistent. Can’t beat it for the price.
