Is this compatible with the iPad 8th Gen 2020?

This stylus is not an Apple Pencil---so it will NOT perform the specialized tasks that the Pencil does--- such as pressure sensitive strokes or Scribble. It does a superb job of substituting for a finger tip. I do use is on both an iPad Pro and a older iPad. It offers precise selectivity and great visibility for typing or for sketching, for example. I use it daily. Even if you do have an Apple Pencil, I think you would find this a valuable tool.

Does anyone know if this offers palm rejection?

No. Adonit only offers palm rejection on its most expensive Pixel model.

Will this stylus fit into an iPad case with an Apple Pencil slot?

I would think so, since this stylus is thin. I have had both the apple pencil and this stylus. I believe the apple pencil id a little thicker.
