FLA Safe-T-Sport Neoprene Knee Sleeve Open, Navy, X-Large

About thirty years ago I injured both knees during a fall and until several years ago, had no problems. Age, weight gain, and osteoarthritis have made my knee problems worse. Consequently, I have a drawer full of various kinds of knee supports-adjustable wrap arounds and sleeves and not one of them is as supportive and comfortable as Safe-T-Sport Neoprene Knee Supports that come in larger sizes (up to 24-25 inches) that cannot be found in most local stores. Even the catalogs offer the largest size of X-Large. Thankfully, I ordered two knee supports and after wearing them for many hours-walking, sitting at the computer desk, playing fetch with our pup, and standing-I can honestly say these supports didn't bunch up or feel like they were cutting off my circulation and they seem to stabilize my knees better than the other brands of knee supports. After one whole day of wearing both knee supports I am ecstatic to report that they absolutely do not bunch up and feel just as comfortable at the end of the day as they did when I first put them on in the early morning. Already my knees feel so much better during my daily regular routine!An added note: with sleeve type knee supports, it is very important that you measure your knees with a tape measure about 4-inches above the knee for the correct size. If your knees tend to swell, then get the next size larger. If you don't take the time to measure, the supports may be too small causing extreme discomfort and can be dangerous to wear.

This safe-t-sport neoprene knee support is very good but there are some drawbacks to the support which I found out. The support does what it advertises to do and you have to measure the upper leg above the knee to get the right size. The drawback is not to wear it more than an hour or so as it will make your knee sweat. I also have poor circulation in my leg that I use the support on and in doing so after 3 hours or so my knee will swell. Not life threatening as you have to remove it to feel better.

I thought I was buying Safe t sport brand. I have one I bought else where. It fits great. Instead I received two sleeves that are only labeled Florida Orthopedics. They look similar but they don't fit right.

I have a torn meniscus in my right knee. It's been about 8 months since I was diagnosed, and I'm so trying to avoid surgery, but I do suffer with a constant dull ache, and at night...it can be extremely painful, when trying to sleep. Buy this sleeve and you'll swear, it's the best money you've ever spent!Be sure to read the popular review which outlines the sizing, stick as close to your true size and you won't be disappointed! I just knew that I needed something to wear for support when I am at home, so I gave this product a shot and wow, what a difference it makes!The neoprene creates and traps your natural body heat, and therein the heat is very soothing and seems to relieve a lot of the general discomfort that I feel from day-to-day. Included with this product is a small catalog of products made by this company, and I was so happy to read that this was made for meniscus tears (amongst other things). Again, be sure to get the sizing right and you won't be disappointed at all! I'm only on day 2 of wearing this sleeve, but I just had to write my review now, to ensure that other sufferers are aware of how great this product is. If anything changes with my opinion, I'll be sure to update my review.

Upset they were Huge! I felt No support on knees & they make you sweat so I’ll continue to buy cheaper cotton ones at stores, till I wear them out. Better than these huge sweaty ones. I even measured my knees when I ordered them

I had a hard time finding one that fit me and stays up. It's comfortable and not bulky. I think I will start using tape around it for extra support, my knee is pretty bad... overall great product!

Perfect! These sleeves were exactly what I was looking for. I went through 4 different orders with different companies. Biggest (Only) issue was size. I ordered these same braces in a 3XL and they were too big. Returned them with no problem and ordered 2XL and they are perfect. I did find that each company we off with their method for measurement of the knee. This type of product I like to buy at a physical location but nobody carries the size I would usually need. In the end, these are great and give me the support I need for daily walking (working out).I did just wear these on a trip to Disney World. Walked 7+ miles a day some days over 10 miles. The braces kept me going.

Great product. The 3X was too large for me so I ordered the 2X. It is neoprene so expect to sweat. But it is light enough to wear. There are no annoying Velcro tabs eating the back of my thigh and it delivers the support I need without being bulky and aggravating, or even making me conscious of wearing it. The size thing... I am 6'1 and 265 lbs so I figured 3X was for me. But even my meaty thighs have some extra space.
