It was a gift. I also own it and liked it. Tom Tierney's books are well researched and well done.

Love it, cutting the figurines helps kids fine motion and it is a great way to learn history.

Beautiful

The illustrations look great, but I really wish that all the paper dolls and the outfits were perforated for easy use and simplicity. Every single outfit and character must be hand-cut with scissors, the edges are very meticulous and it is very time consuming just to cut one thing out. Would not recommend this product if you are looking for something quick and easy to use.

Very nice, detailed people and clothing. Some historical facts included which help bring life to the dolls and hence the history books.My 8 year old needed help with some of the cutting, but the 12 year old managed it.

Dover makes quality products. My children loved listening to George Washington Spymaster while cutting out their Washington family paper dolls. After the dolls were cut out, they spent many hours play with them which is great for creativity.

I love old-time paper dolls, and these are historical, too.The colors and styles are great, and I will add them to my collection.
