This product literally saved my cat, which I thought is impossible.Sterilizing cat means many changes and one of them is higher risk of developing stones in kidneys and/or bladder. That's what unfortunately happened to my cat, with two options only: trying to dissolve stones with veterinary food or surgery. After one month on this particular food the stones dissapeared in 100% (!)As for the lower caloric value, it helps maintaining/losing the weight if you stick to the amounts specified on the packaging. As those are fairly low, I strongly recommend using any kitchen scale.The taste must be off the charts, as my quite picky cat loves it and demands more every 2-3 hours before the next feeding time ;) So no risk at veterinary meaning tasteless.There's also no need to worry about any other health aspects: cat's skin and fur looks great, teeth gather no residues, gums stay healthy and the mood doesn't change: it's still the same, happy and healthy cat as always.Summary: this cat food can save your sterilized cat any urinary problems, in the same time reducing his/her weight while tasting great. Full recommendation and big respect for Royal Canin, they did great with this one.

My wee cat as got a urine infection and also crystal in her bladder so the vetorder this food.So far Meka as eaten the wet food which she seems to enjoy. So finger crossed 🤞 meka will keep eating.Value ok, 1 packet will last two meals so 12 days of food.We shall wait and see how we get on, hopefully the crystal will dissolved in time.Meka is enjoying the food now.

Reasonably priced

This is one of two foods recommended to me by the vets. This is the only one my cats willEat though and yes it is the more expensive one. Fortunately you don’t need to feed much due to the quality of the food. One of my cats had bladder stones, mixed types, and had to have them surgically removed. After that I was told he needed to be on specialist food for the rest of his life. I feed both my cats this and one bag lasts about a month. This is the cheapest I can find on the internet.

Cats didn’t seem impressed at first but slowly introduced this alongside the Purina Urinary Care dry cat food. It lasts longer than I expected, and the cats seem a little calmer than before which is good as one cat is super nervous of everything. I’ve bought another pack, and will continue to buy. I’d recommend using a scoop to dispense the food with this pack as it’s pretty huge.

My cats love this food, and it has been a life changer for one of them that suffers from urinary problems.
