I bought this light due to it’s uniqueness and style. I had read issues around the quality of the gold on it but thought I would take a punt and see as it wasn’t hugely expensive. It arrived promptly and well packaged and was in perfect condition despite the negative reviews it looked great. However the plug is seriously enormous and completely ridiculous but I can live with that. However the switch to operate it was not at all responsive. You try pressing it and it did nothing. Then you try holding it down and it does something but when you perform the same action the light changes setting quickly then goes off. To be honest it was so finickety that I nearly sent it back but instead delegated the job of turning it on to my daughter (who has more patience than me) after a week or two it is much more user friendly. You have to tap (quite firmly) the illuminated switch to change the light settings and after a while it became more responsive. I love the light now and have it on every evening and really does look beautiful. And it’s had a couple of “Wow”s from our visitors so it certainly has that appeal. I would just say, persevere with the operational side of it and it will pay off.

Looks good in the room.The 3 different light settings are great and can be selected depending on mood/need.The brightest setting is plenty bright enough.Just one small point - if you connect this to a smart plug, it defaults to 'Off' when you deactivate the smart plug. When you activate the smart plug, the lamp does not come back on so you have to switch it on manually (it has a touch switch for on/brightness level). A minor point but worth a mention - not enough to stop it being 5 stars though IMO.

The lamp is a very nice addition to any room. Light can be either warm coloured or bright white. It's light but doesn't look cheap. I use to light a dark corner in my living room, so performance is more than adequate. Minimal or no need to assembly. I'm very happy and can surely reccomand. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars it's because the switch is a touch type, and doesn't allow to switch the lamp on via a smart plug (i.e. one can only switch it off from the plug, but not on again).

The media could not be loaded.  Wasn’t expecting the brightness these lights bring. Amazing and so beautiful with 3 light settings. So worth the money.

Firstly, I have to say that I really like these lamps, but there are a few issues I have with them. Beginning with the most important to me, is that they are not compatible with smart plugs for switching on. Okay, so they’re not advertised as such, but more or less everything in my house is connected to Amazon Alexa, either by their native compatibility, or by using smart plugs. The issue with these lamps is the switch on the mains cable, which means they have to be manually switched on. You can’t just leave the switch turned on and have the smart plug control power for you. They can however, be switched off using Alexa, so although it’s not a complete loss, it is somewhat frustrating.Secondly, the switch itself is annoying to operate. It’s not a push button, so more like a touch-sensitive button, but it usually takes me a good 5 attempts to get the pressure right to turn the lights on, or change the colour setting.Lastly, the plug. For such an elegant lamp, they could have put a little more design consideration into something better. It measures 11cm out from the socket. Couple this with a smart plug, then it protrudes halfway across the living room! Okay, that’s an exaggeration, but unless you’ve got fairly discreetly hidden sockets, you’re going to be able to see the mammoth plug.The actual lamp is great, in that I love the design, the amount of light it gives off and the 3 different white light settings. I actually opted to use these together with a silver vase with some decorative flowers and I think they look great and have two positioned either side of the sofa.Overall, it’s a solid 5 stars on the lamp, but everything from the wire down, drop the score to 3 stars. Would I buy again? Only if they did something about the design flaws.

I will start with likes, I liked the shape. I liked it can do 3 separate mood of light. Like the size. Easy to tap button for different moods of light. Has a long cable for ease of placing away from plug.I ordered 2 of these to use on bedside table.The first lamp wasn't to bad (no damage to box or packaging) but due to plastic ends on lamp it does not sit flush to table and wobbles. Material looks cheap, and is not greatly made. It shows that bottom does not sit flat.2nd lamp was a little worse, the pins on the plug attachment were bent so couldn't screw the plug together with the adapter. I had to bend pins back, also put a bit of foam on the lamp to balance it out.I do not recommend this product for price, quality, or look.

the picture of this product does not do it justice. It is beautiful and looks so classy I just can't get over how it looks. I got mine from Amazon Warehouse for less than half price but I cannot understand why anyone would want to send it back. I love it,

This lamp is simple, no fuss and very stylish and modern. I use the first light setting which is warm white (it’s a little more yellow than the photo) and it’s dimmed to the lowest setting. I love it and it fits really well in my lounge. Dim the light by keeping pressure firmly on the button and that works really well. Check out the instruction booklet which explains it all to you. It is a little light and flimsy but looks fine on a table. Recommend.

One box opened when purchased and noticed it was UK outlet. As it was a gift I didn’t check second boxBoth boxes recently opened as it was a gift. When second box opened we noticed the transformer/outlet was missing and not in its box.We are to late to return item.
