Secret Garden: A BabyLit® Flowers Primer

Got for a newborn to add to her gift basket. Her grandparents have a beautiful garden and her mom loves butterflies (on cover) super pretty pops of color.

These books are great. Clever story adaptation, cute graphics—fun whether you know the story or not (as most toddlers don't). My daughter works at a daycare and her kids love listening to these books. She gets a kick out of them, too. Great Christmas stocking stuffers for the young moms and moms-to-be in your life!

this book is a great way to introduce natural medicine to children. As with all the baby books - lots of gorgeous illustrations and very simple poetic words so its up to the reader to engage with the kid - who for sure is drawn to the colors, shape, humor and love that exude from these books. I loved this one so much I made a gift set out of it for my ecommerce store combining with a sleep oil for toddlers.

It’s not a full story, just pictures of flowers and their names with quotes from the novel Secret Garden. Our kiddo still loves it though. Sturdy board book.

This is a great book for talking about colors and some animals. I enjoy the quotes from The Secret Garden on each page, but obviously the baby is oblivious to those references. She just likes the bright pictures and little animal faces.

Omg get these books for any baby in your life. Hands down the most “awed at” and most “unique” gift I’ve ever given at a baby shower. Every time. (We’re talking 7 in a row now.)

Very basic, but a great start for visual cues.

loved the colors and the illustrations. However, it is not the actual story... Each page has a drawing of a flower and the name. Yes, the illustrations of flowers are cute but they are not exactly like the real plant. In other words the child will not learn essential parts of the story or about flowers.

I think it is not really interesting book for newborn babies, at least is our case :(

I have bouts 3 of these now but this flower one is a personal favourite. I’m sure my daughter (2-3) has learned some different flower names from this.

Me gusta que los niños vivan entre libros. Creo que es la mejor manera de incorporarlos al mundo. Éste este tiene figuras sencillas y coloristas, páginas gruesas y resistentes, y admite dos lecturas. Las páginas de la derecha para bebés, las de la izquierda para las de uno o dos años, que sepan descubrir una figura entre otras. Además algunas palabras y frasecitas sonoras en inglés, porque nuestros niños serán con toda seguridad, al menos, bilingües.
