Fitted NV340
Bought to replace tube in NV340. Fiddly to fit, but fit it did (function of the shark design rather than the part), and looks to be a decent quality replacement for the original - hopefully vacuum back to full service. Beats spending £65 for the whole floor nozzle.

Perfect fit
Part same as the original, fairly easy to install.

I made it longer by wrapping piping cord round it.
Wrapped it tight with piping cord. Managed to fit it then removed some cord so it would bend back into machine. It took me a few days to work this out. I hope this helps someone. It's quite worn me out.

Great product that equals the original. Once fitted we have as new, system performance. Fitting of the tube takes a while, but is not complicated if you map where the screws come from. It is one of those tasks, that you need to take your time with and not force anything. This is down to the Shark design and not anything to do with the replacement tube. Would I buy this item again, yes.

The worst product I have ever used.
This should be an easy like for like replacement but instead it is the most difficult item to fit. The diameter is to big so it does not screw into the tube as it should. The pipe rings are folded too close to each other making it impossible to squeeze and screw in. Never again

Rescued my Shark from the grave
I decided to clean my Shark the other day as it was not picking up well at all. When I turned it over I saw that the hose between the rollers and the upright had cracked all the way through. Sharks website said I needed to replace the whole lift away head at around £60. Bought this hose from Barty Spares and thought it was worth a few pounds to see if it worked before chucking out the vacuum cleaner. Getting the old hose out was easy, putting the new one in was trickier but only took about 10 minutes. My Shark is back to its old self, full "almost tearing up the carpet" suction. Which makes me wonder how long the hose had been cracked. And whether Shark make this a weak spot on purpose to sell more units.

Not able to use
Watch out before buying this part as our vacuum couldn’t be dismantled to fit the part despite the description saying if fitted our model. So we have no idea how good this part is as we couldn’t use it. No point returning it as it wasn’t expensive
