Disney Frozen II Slushy Treat Maker Includes Slushy Unit, Ice Shaver, Ice Cube Molds, Ice Bucket, Slushy Cup & Spoon

I didn't want a snow cone maker that makes huge amounts at a time because my niece doesn't need all that. This makes a dixi cup size snow cone at a time with two small compartments for two separate flavors. By the time the flavor compartments are out she is done with eating them anyways. It is worth it for kids for sure! I purchased sugar free water flavors that we mixed in bottles of water and keep in my fridge for her to go get herself when she uses this. I do not recommend using the trays it comes with for making an ice cube to shave. Just go to your local place that sells "that good ice" and it works great! I have to hold it down while she turns the knob but other than that she can do it all on her own. I got it for her bday gift and she just turned 5.

I am a preschool teacher and when any of my kids have tonsil & adenoid surgery this is my go to gift! They love it and it gets them to eat something cold for the throat.

I read the reviews and got this anyway. I’m glad I did and it was fun for my 5 year old grandson. He enjoyed making snow cones with his Grandfather. The snow cones are incredibly small, but that’s not a bad thing for small children. :). It’s a fun toy, but nothing you’ll use forever.

I was hesitant to buy this with several negative reviews, but after watching a youtube tutorial on how it works, I went ahead and got it. My 5 year old daughter is in love with this little machine! She can work it herself. There is one thing you need to know in order to make this work: put cubed or crushed ice (like from a fridge door) instead of the frozen ice pucks they tell you to make with the included cups. Those do NOT grind up. At all. With smaller cubes or crushed ice it works perfectly and is easy for kids to do themselves.

Please do not buy this thing, it’s MISERABLE. Adorable to look at but not at all functional. It comes with special cups to make the ice and they are supposed to catch the “grinder” but they’re too shallow so it just slips. You need a grown man with all his weight behind it to push the handle down while cranking. Then once you get some shaved ice you split it into the 2 ridiculously small fancy cups that hold maybe a tablespoon of shaved ice.It’s a waste of money, save yourself some frustration and PASS! If I could give negative stars I would.

This did not create chipped ice very well. As an adult it took a lot for me to get even the ice to chip. We basically had a little ice and let my child experience the cool flavor additions. It’s stinkin adorable though.

Works great ! Alot of people say this doesn't work but it really works great. Please make sure when you insert the ice from the mold that the X imprint is face up and olaf's head piece is lined up with that X . It's what grips the Ice block to spin it across the shaver. I shave a whole ice mold in less then 30 seconds. The cup is small but perfect amount for a small child.Edited to say 1 year in and still works great 😃
