It works great to heat a bucket with water. Heats fast. I used it to throw 4-5 water gallons in thr swimming pool. 5-8° F warmed a 10x30" swimming pool.

I give this a 4 star. This unit works ok if you use it properly. I see where some are saying the plastic melts and can be a fire hazard. That is only true if you do not properly use it. I withheld one star because of the improper pictures on the web site advertising the product.Never allow the heating element to touch the bottom of the unit being heated or the side. An exception might be if the pail is metal. Also make sure that the water level goes all the way up the heating rod to within 1/4" to 1/2" max away from the plastic. Otherwise, it can get too hot and melt the plastic. Also never allow the water level to touch the plastic.

Great product

Heats water to over 90 degrees in 5 min and that’s a 5 gallon bucket! Great for our camp shower, I can’t speak to longevity because we just got it but so far awesome! Don’t forget to never pull it out of water or plug it in when not in water or you will blow it out, just like an electric water heater in your home. 100% satisfied

What I like is that it heat the water fast.

Compact lightweight, easy to use. Takes only 10-15 minutes to heat your water bucket. You have to set your alarm otherwise it can melt the plastic
