Best fix for my awful well water
Love the results! My second purchase. We moved to a beautiful property in the country but our well water was TERRIBLE. Mineral heavy with a horrible odor. The leaves on my flowers, shrubs, and vegetables would die if I got even just a little bit of water on them. Now my plants are thriving.

Great but may leak without one step…
This is a great filter and it didn’t stop the water pressure like my other one I used to have. The only problem is that when I connected it to my new hose (so I know it wasn’t the hose. And the sprayer it was leaking water everywhere. I realized after I turned everything off unlike my old one (that didn’t leak) it was missing the rubber washer. So I just ordered some on amazon got it next day and put one in both ends and bam the leaking issue was gone. It just needs the garden hose washer rubber piece to complete a seal so it won’t leak water from the connection. The washers I found were sold as a little package and not individually. Other than that issue everything was great. Got the order faster than I could ever had imagine and the filter even before I solved the leaking water problem did not loose pressure in the rising when using the sprayer. So if you got this and are having a problem with leaking water from the connectors it is only because it is missing the rubber washer that fits in the connector to properly seal the connection so water won’t escape. The washers are very cheap and can be purchased at a hardware store often if you are lucky individually or in a value pack with a good 30 of them or more for like less than $4. Best thing the seller can do is just ship two washers seals with the item to help have a great experience the first time. Having to do that extra step is why I didn’t give 5 stars. And the only reason it missed that 5 star. But for those who had the leaking problem all it could be is not having the washer. Otherwise it is an amazing product and the delivery was super fast.

Best for plants and vegetables
Great product and easy to use. We use this for our garden and the vegetables are growing much better than with straight city water.

The solution to a big problem.
I was having a problem keeping my Texas garden watered. I wanted to avoid the ton of chlorine in the city water, so i devised this Rube Goldberg method of collecting and pumping rain water. And... it didn't work out so well. These are simple and do the job.

Produced Funky Smelling Water
The have used a couple of different hose filters in the past. The best growth results have been with the Hydro Life C-85. The AquaCrest price was low so I took a chance on a 2 pack but the AquaCrest hose filter was a fail. It set up the same but the water that came out had a bad chemical smell. I let at least 20 gallons flow through but the smell was still there. (FYI water straight out of my tap does not have a smell) I don't know how safe the water it is "filtering" because don't know what is happening inside the filter. It's supposed to filter out bad smells instead it produces a them. I have used a couple of different hose filters in the past. My best plant growth results have been with the Hydro Life C-85. It's supposed to filter out contaminants instead it produces contaminated water. I ordered the Hydro Life C-85 again because I know they are good at effectively filtering. It has now official become more of a hassle because I will have to leave to house to return the AquaCrest filters. Not cool Amazon! I learned a valuable lesson. Don't risk changing a good thing just to save a small amount of money. It's not worth it for your health and the health of your plants.

Necessary when organic gardening with city water!
Last year was the first year using this hose filter fit watering my garden and second year going organic. The results were amazing! If you are growing organic then watering with clothing tester city water that kills fungus and microbiome of the soil you are not going to see the full benefits of your hard work. Highly recommended!
