This type of calendar is perfect for people like me, who tend to forget the day/date and need to know it often. I have one sitting on my desk at work and I make sure to pull off (& keep the past days in the box it came in) the previous day right when I sit down. The day and date are easily visible for when people are constantly asking me what the date is and when I'm typing documents, all of which need to be dated.I actually have this one at home on my nightstand because I didn't want to take the chance of someone taking it from my desk at work, so I had to get an extra one!I spent hours searching, reading reviews & comparing the MANY similar calendars available. I feel confident that I chose the best one and I am very happy to have found this! I will be purchasing this calendar for years to come!Each month has a different theme and each day has a quote which follows the particular theme, along with fantastic artwork on every single page! This calendar is perfect for all ages, from a young girl to an older great-grandmother. There are relevant quotes for all ages and the artwork is beautiful for everyone, male & female, young & old. Just for reference, I am 32 years old, a working single mom of one toddler and I enjoy art & music (among many other things). I am confident in saying that anyone who chooses to purchase this calendar will not be disappointed.

I buy my daughter one of these calendars every year at Christmas. I believe if I ever fail to do so she might shove me out the door and deprive me of Christmas dinner!Mary Englebreit is an amazing artist and her illustrations bring a smile with each turn of the page. That she incorporates an inspiring or cheerful saying/quote on each page is just icing on the cake.

I buy Mary Engelbreit's daily calendar for my wife, with a fun, inspiring illustration for each day of the year, for each Christmas holiday season. She slips me a few of her favorites each year, tearing them off from the pad and secreting them to my work desk. I get an idea about which of Mary's thoughts touched my wife's sensitivities which is no small learning experience for any husband in a marriage. It's cheaper and much better than hiring a marriage counselor.

My wife buys these calendars every year for her sister and her best friend. Everyday has a new message, that is uplifting. It's become a tradition every year for the past 6-7 years she orders this, and it never disappoints. The best part, it's only February, so it's not too late to buy one for Valentine's Day. Appropriate for mom, best friend, sister. Even a child away in college would get a smile with this day-to-day calendar, even from their parents!

This is my third year to buy the Mary Engelbreit calendars for my family of 6 girls (daughters and daughters-in-law) and myself. I also give one to my hairdresser. We sometimes still call and say, "did you see your calendar today? Made me think of you ". My hairdresser told me she saves some of them and sends the messages to her clients who are ill or in the nursing home.

I love Mary Englebreit's books. I bought four of her books for my granddaughter who is in preschool and loves these books also. The Mary Englebreit 2015 Day-to-Day Calendar: Just Be! is for my own pleasure. I also ordered another one for my sister. The packaging came intact.
