The inside bottom of the kettle is metal.

There are plastic parts near the spout where the water is poured out. The top of the container is plastic. There isn't any plastic rings inside the container where the glass meets the bottom.

Q: Does water touch any plastic/rubber part when heating or pouring?

Yes- there are thick beads of silicon at the bottom and top inside of the kettle. This has a significant surface area that the water touches.

Q: Does this have any bps, which is worse than bpa?

The glass is borosilicate glass，it's BPA free as they say. but I don't know anything about the rubber ring inside，the seller never mention it. and they didn't mention BPS either，so I have no idea.
