Fit good, seems to set alright.

I ordered this seat to replace the original seat on our John Deere Model 4300. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. Be sure to use the bolts supplied as the 2 original front bolts on the original seat adjustment frame are a different size than the back ones and all 4 holes in the new seat bottom that line up with the adjustment frame are the same size and the bolts that fit those holes are provided.

Nice replacement seat from new. I appreciate the drain hole that the original seat didn't have and caused that rude double take on sitting down from heavy dew or rain.

Update: Although I initially thought this seat would be too hard, I have gotten used to it and find it comfortable. It seems to be lasting better than the OEM seat and the firmness actually helps provide support when working or being rocked up and down by ruts and transition areas. Still 4 stars.Quality is high, well built, and most importantly a precise fit for a John Deere compact tractor — which is the problem with 90% of the replacement seats out there. However, as several reviewers mentioned, this seat is significantly firmer than the original. There is NO cushion in this seat. If a seat made out of stone were a "10" on the hardness scale, this is a "9". Now that might not be all bad as the original seat didn't last more than 1 year before it tore. Could be the case that the OEM seat flexed a lot. And with me slaming up and down on it as I hop on and off my tractor, could have caused it to crack (especially in winter). So, suffice it to say there is NO give/cushion with this seat. It will improve your posture and may last longer than the original. Haven't had a ton of seat time in this seat, but it seems to work well. Time will tell.Update 2: seat still performing well, not as hard or uncomfortable as I was worried it might be. Fairly heavily stained tho with dirt and sun wear, but NOT split.

Fits my John Deere perfectly. Better than the original for comfort.

Only time will tell, but quality seems good.While I was able to get two of the bolts to fit, frustrated the two remaining mounting holes did not align with frame.Older model 4310, may not be an issue with newer models.

I have a John Deere 4410 and this fit perfectly. All mounting holes in perfect alignment. It is comfortable and seems to be heavy duty and the same size as original JD seat. I would buy this again and would recommend to others!
