Awesome
I am a professional wildlife photographer and am incredibly impressed with this lens kit. I have a number of Apexel lenses now and have never been disappointed. Here's a full review of this high powered telephoto lens. You will note that I mention a few other peripheral accessories that help me get the best of the lenses that I use. This is a quality item and deserves the right set up.The lens arrives in a well present box with all components safely packaged. Immediately you can feel the weight of the lens which is reassuringly heavy and robust. The lens comes with carry case, dust caps, camera clip, mounting ring, tripod, dust cloth and an eyepiece. All these components have a quality feel and are well made. I'll return to the tripod later.Setting up:I recommend screwing the camera clip to the lens first before clamping to your phone. Remember to slide the mounting ring on the lens before you do this. It takes a bit of lining up but once you're in position everything holds together well. You definitely want to use a tripod with this lens and thankfully one is supplied with this product. The tripod is sturdy and holds the weight and balance of the lens well. To achieve this I've found the best position to tighten the mounting ring is just after the lettering for the zoom adjustment ring. The tripod is good enough to get you started but to do the lens justice you will want to invest in a larger extendable one. Being well designed the tripod mounting ring has a universal fixing so this isn't a problem. I've also bought an adjustable camera mount to give me greater flexibility when I'm in position. I've added a photo of how I've set up my test shots using my existing tripod. It drew a lot of attention from passers by with people amazed you could this kind of lens for a phone camera.Test shots:To test the lens out I wanted to see how far away I could achieve a decent photo without using my phone's zoom function. I've added a fixed photo of the chosen scene prior to adding the lens. I'm focusing on the name plate of the lock gate. You can't see it in the standard photo. The other photo I've added is taken with the lens on max zoom and focused with the lenses focal adjustment ring. As you can see the text is clearly visible and the image is at a decent resolution. I did find I needed to set the phone zoom function to 1.1x just to clip out the very slight vignetting in the corners. Additionally I used a remote shutter button just to avoid any camera shake from clumsy fingers. Another small investment to do this lens justice. The distance from the focal object is approx 40 meters, very impressive!Of course you have the option of using your phone zoom to go even further but I'm only reviewing the lenses unaided ability. In short I'm really impressed with this lens and I know I'm going to have lots of fun with it.

Does not fit any modern flagship mobile phone
I tried this with the flagship samsung, apple, and oneplus devices. It does not fit any of them. I tried it with an older phone and it also did not fit. Would have been nice for them to say something informative instead of claiming "fits 99% of phones". They only need like 4mm more space and we'd be good.Secondly, while the main attachments are metal and wonderful build quality, the tripod is the cheapest plastic junk, made of the the same plastic as a cheap comb. If this fit my phone I would use it with a different tripod. I'm surprised they even bothered to include such a cheap tripod. A good small tripod isn't that expensive, and this system does work with a standard tripod.

What are your needs? Updated.
Update: After the review below(was three stars), I was almost immediately contacted by the manufacturer. I expected nothing, but they offered a full refund and sent a newly designed phone clamp. The new clamp is 100X better with a sliding, spring loaded, side gripping mechanism instead of the small, screw-to-tighten, front-to-back clamp. One of the big challenges of hand holding this lens (beyond the expected magnification challenge) was the constant fighting with the original screw clamp that never stayed put. With the new clamp, and using the āliveā feature on my iPhone, I was able to get pretty good quality at 20X, hand held only and not in a moving vehicle (have t tested yet) .30-40X is still beyond hand holding. The increased rating is for the sellerās response(5) and the improved clamp (making the total package closer to a 4, especially for the price). I plan to do more testing and will update further. Again, A+ seller.I am a Canon hobbyist photographer for reference.First, the mounting doesnāt work on a bare iPhone 13 or 14. I have a personal and work phone. The iPhone clear, MagSafe cover is a bit better. Still had to adjust constantly, u less it was set and perfectly still.TBH, it does well on a completely stable tripod that isnāt in motion. It is absolutely worthless on a monopod, in any sort of moving vehicle, boat, bus, car, etc. Hand held? LOL.I bought it for a once-in-a-lifetime Alaska cruise and have zero memorable photos with it.I bought it after reading the reviews and knowing the risk. I donāt feel itās honest to return it, but plan to sell it. hopefully someone can use it. Very disappointed. Caveat emptor.
