Would this work with a 2013 chevy sonic lt sedan? looking at adding it to the front bumper.

It works on metal. I have a bar at top and bottom of plate for extra security. These are strong magnets just like the ones car dealers use when you test drive a car. If your bumper is plastic/fiber glass it won’t work unless there is metal under the plastic.

Would this be strong enough for a trailer? Obviously without a solid backing wind would be a factor.

The blowers at the car wash take ours off our car but they do hold tight otherwise for a trailer with the wind catching it would probably blow off eventually.

This is not flexible, but very rigid.
