This Skil Circular Saw is a great entry level saw for a craftsman or homeowner. The quality is there and It is quite powerful for such a low price point. It rips through 2 x 4 and plywood with the greatest of ease! I highly recommend adding this saw to your tool chest!

For the price point outstanding circular saw. Used it extensively in a recent remodel, even cutting concrete pawers (with the right type of blade) without any problems. Well built with plenty of power. Highly recommend.

I like the power; it just glides through a heavier piece of wood. I like the laser feature. I like the sturdy feel of the saw and the rubberized grips. The canvas case the saw comes with keeps it clean when stored. I also like how easy it is to register a Skil product for its warranty. The price was really good as well.

Excellent value for the money. Wired fantastic! The laser is bright and helped me make straight cuts. I was using my grandfathers vintage craftsman saw for the past 25 years and I wanted to retire it before it was worn out. This Skil saw is perfect and will serve me for many many years. It’s built well, MUCH easier to use and maneuver and lasted makes it very accurate. Included blade for perfect for cutting 4x8 plywood and zips through 2x4s like a knife through butter. It also comes with a nice carry bag that fits the saw perfectly, and zips closed. I would recommend this to any home user.

I am a weekend warrior homeowner, so this is used for home improvement projects. It's the third circular saw I have owned in my lifetime, and I like it the best. My old one is not accurate any more and I only trust it to cut up stuff for the trash. I bought this one last summer to build a porch/deck and used it almost every day for a couple of months. I love it. It's nice and light, the laser line is accurate and super useful, it's pretty quiet, and it just fits in my hands well. I resisted buying a cordless saw, as my projects are all within reach of a power outlet, and this gives this saw plenty of power. I cut countless joists, composite deck boards, and trim pieces without a lot of fatigue because it is so light, and the rubbery handles give a good grip. Even though it is light it feels hefty and sturdy and well made. I was able to quickly and accurately adjust the depth and miter angle. I recommend.
