Hello Anamcara, thank you for your question. If you store the slime in the container provided when not in use, with the lid firmly closed, then the slime will not dry out. We advise that you handle the slime fairly regularly to keep it stretchy and slimey - if it is left in the container for a very long period of time without use then it can eventually dry out but if handled regularly (monthly) then it will keep all it's slimeyness.
