Does this have a strong odor?

No the odor is similar to floor wax. Essentially I would say this is a wax. I don't recommend it for laminate flooring. I have a dog and it showed every little mark from her nails. I stripped my floors with vinager and water it looked so bad.

can I use this on matte stained screened in porch floor?

My wife used this product on our prefinished hardwood flooring and it resulted in a huge mess. The finish on the floor turned a milky white and the only thing we found that would remove it was a product called Goof Off heavy duty remover. We spent 3 days on our hands and knees cleaning up the mess it created. I would NEVER use this product on ANYTHING again!

How is Restore and shine refresh different

Restore is not a floor cleaner. You clean your floors first and then apply the Restore. It's like waxing your floors and meant to rejuvenate older wood floors. It can cover up some minor scratches in the wood as well. The shine will last quite a while (a few months). Shine Refresher is a floor cleaner. It also provides a healthy shine to your floors, but it's a thinner liquid. It can seal things into your floor with a thin layer of wax, so make sure you sweep up your floor thoroughly. However, if any debris gets sealed in, you can easily remove it with your fingernail without damaging the floor. It doesn't cover up smaller scratches. The shine can last up to a month if you have no traffic in your house. Otherwise, it starts to dull after a couple of weeks if the floor is not cleaned weekly. I love this product personally. The floors always look terrific.
