Terrific little Shaver!
Don't let the price fool you, this little AA batt powered Shaver is quite the beast for a clean shave.Like all rotary Shavers iy takes a week for your face to adjust to this style.Philips have addressed this and the shaving heads are made so to lesson skin irritation.Of course it's a different way of shaving, so pulling and positioning the area is something you learn very easily. The build quality is adequate for the job, and feels solid in the hand.As you do your face you'll feel little areas you've missed, and it's quite satisfying going over them and then feeling smooth.I'm sending back a three headed Shaver which should out perform it, instead this two headed ultra portable Shaver does the job ten time better, and cutting down the areas the larger one can't cut.Look, this is a no brainer, if you want a good Shaver without costing a fortune, this will be the one to buy!

Excellent value for money battery powered travel razor
This razor is excellent. It shaves closely and comfortably and although nowhere nearly as good as a blade it is as good as much more expensive electric razors I have used in the past. The only reason I am taking off a star is because it is quite easy to accidently turn off during use. But, this is the second one of these and it will always be part of my travel accessories.

Excellent Shaver
This shaver is brilliant, purchased last November 6 months ago, still on the same batteries. I use it roughly twice a week before I go out on the pull
F**!
I will say the same, as my previous review on this very similar if not the same products.
Before you purchase the £21 version of this shaver Which is the exact same model PQ20618. I would purchase, this one, as it is the time I bought it, was £16.99. Still no carrying pouch. As some of the other reviewers say it has a carrying bag. Now for the shaver. Not bad, for a cheap battery shaver. However. Check if you get a new and not used version. As it two that I purchased. Assume that they have possibly been used before. Very sorry for any spelling mistakes. It is, I am a blind person. And I have to use dictation on the iPhone.

Yes this works
Its been several weeks and I have not yet felt the need to go and have a wet shave; this razor does not 'shave a close as a blade' but it is still pretty good and a lot more convenient if you're on the go. I was initially diappointed as it looks like a toy and my first try seemed to leave a lot of resilient old man whiskers in situ. However a bit of perseverance and I now think its pretty good. I do get a bit of reddening around the throat in areas where I need to apply a little more pressure, so those with sensitive skin might need to be wary, but otherwise this does the job. I am surprised at my own finding but there it is.

Philips AA battery powered travel shaver with two rotary blades
Simplest and lowest priced at around £18 in the Philips range, sold as a small light portable travel model with 2 rotary heads not 3, conveniently powered by two standard AA cells obtainable just about everywhere. I have been using this new purchase at home now for several weeks (around 3-4 times a week) and still on the first set of duracell alkaline AA's, so I think one set would easily last through say, a month's camping holidayNot waterproof for wet shaving in or out of a shower, meant for dry shaving, with no inbuilt rechargeable battery so no charger with cable is needed, and taking the manufacturer's descriptions for its design as being small, lightweight, portable etc., it fits that description and can give me a good enough dry shave allowing for the extra time need to go over same areas more than once, by feel rather than by sight, and will take longer if more days growth but my daughter says it looks close to my normal traditional ultra smooth wet shave, although I do not think any electric model can match that smooth clean refreshing feeling that you get with a traditional wet shave razor blade modelFeels comfortable to hold and easy to clean, top squeezes off easily and a few gentle taps of main body onto a tissue on a flat firm surface releases the minute hair n skin bits, same for the inverted top which contains the pair of cutting blades.I have to rate performance to price ratio as very good, more expensive ones will be faster on denser beard but only fractionally smoother, I have tried some of these triple head/multiple cutting zone types but a comparison of internet ratings match my opinion that this low priced model can give final result as good as many of the expensive ones so why pay a lot more unless you want a waterproof one for a frequent wet or shower shave, this is a travel model which could be used at home as your regular dry shave electric one
