Upon receiving this Umber Anti Aging Cream with 2% Retinol in the mail, I was happily surprised to see how well it was packaged. Please see attached product pictures.On second note, the first thing I did after opening the box was to look at the ingredients. I am always interested to see what is in a product that I apply to my skin, and where in the ingredients lineup the advertised ingredients (Jajoba oil, Green Tea, and Vitamin C) are located. The ingredients are as follows:Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyl Dimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Glyceryl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Jojoba Seed (Simmondsia Chinensis) oil, Acrylamide/Sodium Acrylate Copolymer, Mineral Oil, Trideceth-6, D-Panthenol, Ergothioneine, Tocopherol Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium EDTA, Potassium Sorbate, Pseudo-alteromonas Ferment Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat a Protein, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Tri-peptide-10 Citrulline, Tripeptide-1, Lecithin, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Sodium Carboxymethyl Betaglucan, Retinol Palmitate, Tromethamine, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Retinol 2%Now the real test was trying the product. I switched out my regular daily moisturizer with this and had pleasant results, which is, actually pretty amazing. I have extremely sensitive skin and tend to break out from even the most natural of products, including almost all of the unnatural ones. I had absolutely no problems with this anti-aging cream at all! I would, however, not switch out your daily moisturizer, but add this to it. The addition of Jajoba oil keeps it from being drying, but doesn't act as a moisturizer. It doesn't seem to have any scent at all, which may be why I didn't break out from it. It is medium-light in thickness and doesn't take too much, maybe the size of a dime, to cover your face. It soaks in and doesn't leave any film or greasy layer. It has a slight tightening feeling after just one use, and noticeably firmer skin after one week of use. I have multi-type skin right now, as I am expecting, with some areas that get oily and other areas of my face that are very dry. This didn't aggravate the oily areas but I still needed moisturizing in the dry areas.As a disclaimer, I received this product for a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I purchased Anti-Aging Cream by Umber NYC because I was very unhappy with the results I was getting from my store bought skin care regime. I suffer from melasma and as anyone who has it knows, you'd try anything to get rid of it! Well, I'm pretty excited to say that I'm seeing it breaking up on my forehead, and I'm over the moon happy!!! (See pics). I also have some wrinkles on my neck that are clearly diminishing! My whole complexion is brighter! I'm so thrilled and anxious to see how much more my skin will improve with continued use! On a side note, I must say that I'm very impressed at the packaging it came in. I've had product come in the mail that was cheaply packaged and as a result, loss of product, broken containers, big mess! This cream was carefully packed and secured in the shipping box as to prevent it from banging around. I am a fifty-year-old woman with normal to dry skin. My skin in very sensitive. I have your basic crows feet and the dreaded chest wrinkles. I am fighting the aging process as best I can. I have been using this cream on my eyes, chest, and neck. I can already tell a big difference. It is really great on my chest wrinkles. I love the bottle and it is only 1 fluid ounce so I can take it in my purse, even on airplanes to keep the skin around my eyes looking smooth and bright. I highly recommend this serum.
