Anyone got this rug and machine washed it? How did it turn out?

I tried washing mine it spoiled it

Why does it stink of fish and how comes it’s 1/4 of the thickness in the pictures?

My carpet did not smell of fish. I agree it it not thick but it is fine and not pricy. I do note that shoes should be taken off whenever possible.

It comes in vacuum packaging but once it is spread, there are no folds lines. It's very nice

Is there a difference in colour between the “black/grey” and the “grey/black”?

Hi, I'm not sure because I brought the grey/black, which is very light in color. But I will say that the fluffy rug is nice to walk on but it wears down badly when resting your feet on the rug, making a flat patch where your feet have been. When you try to fluff it up it's just warm and won't recover as before. Sorry don't have pictures not at home right now.
