This mini drifter comes with plastic drift tires vs the rubber on a k989. This makes it slide more and easier to not make contact with the walls . A great intro to hobby grade rc. This car is small, but packs almost every part a hobby grade rc has and can still be used indoors. For the money I don't think you can get a better small scale rc. Very customizable and fun to drift.

Perfect for indoor fun on laminate floors. I did get tired of the hard plastic drift tires and replaced them with rubber tires. I added a drop of oil to each shock and bearings because there was some binding. I also added thermal paste to the heatsink, out of the box it doesn’t make contact with the motor. I have ran 20 battery packs through it and nothing has broke so far, really happy with this purchase.

Loved the price, quality of plastic parts needs to be better. Springs in shocks need to be of better quality, included drift tires are trash and not completely round, audible knocking from uneven tires when accelerating. Order drift tires and move steering assembly up one notch to drastically improve steering response. With the new wheels I ordered and better springs, this little RC is a good drift trainer!

This is an amazing product right out of the box but can be heavily modified. I need 3 more now!!! 😂 This is definitely a hobby grade rc car, from the nice controller to the durable rc car. They are very easy to modify. The chassis comes with 2 wheelbase options stock. (105mm-110mm) I did the front mono shock mod and put a longer servo arm on it to get a better steering angle then I decide to put a 1/25 supra model body on it for a more scale look. Overall it is an amazing product my opinion it's a 10/10 I would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. The K969 is a great RC car to get. It’s been around for a long time so there are plenty of modifications available for purchase on numerous sites including this one. Mine is heavy upgraded but all electronics fit inside chassis still. I do recommend buying a new transmitter off rip, a piece in the stock remote easily breaks if not careful. All other parts were either modified by me or left stock. I converted it to RWD with no problems as well so this works good for comp drifting too. Lastly, you’re not limited to the chassis that it comes with!! Many 1/24 scale car models (easiest with plastic models) can be fitted onto this RC car. I’ve had fun with this thing for weeks, it has not disappointed 10/10
