MERIWOOL Mens Base Layer - 100% Merino Wool Midweight Long Sleeve Thermal Shirt

Purchased long sleeve thermal Base layer in medium of 250 weight. After one month, it is holding up very well. Have machine washed it in cold, and hung dry and it has kept its size. It is soft and warm. A healthy, breathable fiber worth every penny. The waist is done of very high quality, wide and not scrunched, rather a fine hold within the material. Our only wish is that they came in v-neck too.

Very comfortable and helped with temperature regulation in a warm day/cold night environment. Also looked good enough to transition from camping to nice restaurant!

Nice weight - light to medium - not too hot, but keeps you warm. nice base layer. I got the heavyweight and this one. Both are great - just dep[ends on how warm you want to be. Heavyweight is good for around the house in about 65 degrees temps with very little movement - lounging around. Light weight is a good base layer if you are working outside or exercising down to about 35 degrees (with a coat on) or 50 degreees and up by itself. These cost more than some models, but you get what you pay for. These are VERY well made and comfortable.

I bought two for my Alaskan coastal brown bear hunt.After a day of hiking they’d be soaked. After a rinse in the stream and a quick hang dry there was no odor.Very comfortable to wear under a pack. No hot spots.Very durable.I highly recommend this garment as one of those key pieces in your gear.

It really could just be worn on its own as a shirt or as a base layer. Im 6ft 225lbs broad shoulders and the xl fit me well. Its a slim fitting shirt but very comfortable

So first off this is a very quality product, warm, well made, definitely a good find for the price.Length wise I'd say I wa a bit disappointed as I bought the large tall option. For reference I'm 6'4 about 240 with a 37 inch arm length and 48 inch chest. My torso is long, I only have a 32 inch inseam for someone my height so do require the xtall. While it fit it still sits above my hip bones which made it difficult to tuck. If it would have an extra inch to two inches it would be perfect.

I love these. I bought one and then after wearing it for a while I decided to buy a second one. They are really warm and feel lovely against the skin, especially after hand washing with specific wool detergent e.g. Woolite. The garment description says the fabric is resistant to acquiring odours and that has really been the case (in fact to an amazing extent). You would think that something worn in direct contact with the skin is going to need frequent laundering but that is not the case (for me anyway). In fact I would be embarrassed to admit how rarely I need to change them and I have worn one or other of mine every day this winter. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a warm comfortable base layer that never gets stinky!

**5 year update - I have used them every winter and on many camping trips and these are still holding up. No pilling, no holes. I wash them in the machine with cold water and I've never put them in the dryer. Easily one of my best Amazon purchases ever.**These are so comfortable and they wick moisture like nothing I've worn.I went from very wet to almost totally dry without changing - it was hard to believe.They're quite warm I wouldn't wear them under joggers for a winter jog, but they were perfect as the only base layer at -1 to -5 Celsius, maybe even a bit colder.They were a tiny bit on the loose side, but I'm sure that'll change with washing.Great product! Highly recommended.
