great for my Seestar telescope
Using this with a Seestar telescope and it's been so much easier to level. It's nice quality -- seems to be all metal and there are no rough edges.

Excellent addition to my tripod
Even the bet ball head tripod has a bit of flex to it. When I'm shooting stills with a big lens, this adjuster makes life a bit easier. Well designed and built, fit for purpose.

Didn't need it after all.
There was a rush to purchase one of these devices a couple of years ago when Seestar S50 first came out and needed balancing for altaz mode. At the time I thought they were a little pricey but I wanted to try it out. It worked okay, but after a few months I went back to balancing my setup using just the tripod legs. Faster and easier. Now that Seestar has come out with equatorial mode this year, this leveler is rather obsolete.

Perfect for Seestar S50
This has been the perfect addition to my Seestar, has saved me time, you simply unscrew the mount the S50 came with, screwed this leveler into the same spot the mount goes into and keep it screwed in all the time, then you can either screw the original mount into the leveler or like I do, I use a simple cheap 6' camera tripod I screw the S50 and leveler into and turn it on, when calibrating what used to take minutes now can be done in seconds to 0.0 error margin. You will never not want to use it.
