Dinosaur Encyclopedia for Kids: The Big Book of Prehistoric Creatures

I got this for my 4 year old son as a birthday gift because he was having so many questions about dinosaurs.It answers everything he asks & has every dinosaur you can imagine, even ones that I didn't know existed. Also, did you know that the T. Rex & Velociraptor look nothing like they're shown on TV?

I loved dinosaur books as a kid (a long time ago). This one is done very well. It's larger than I thought but hey, it is an encyclopedia. Nice illustrations. Good text and just the right amount of it for budding readers. This is a winner.

I bought this for my nephew. He is absolutely in love with dinosaurs. The pictures and information is great. We are learning all about dinosaurs. The book is sturdy so you don't have to worry about it lasting or falling apart. We've read from this daily for about 6 months and you can't even tell it's used.

GREAT and solid book that is not like others on dinosaurs. This one builds the book around a massive time line so you can SEE clearly when different ones roamed the earth, not just the names or features of them. GREAT illustrations. We read it as a family, including with a 4 year old!

My grandson really loves this book about dinosaurs that I gave him for his sixth birthday. We both particularly like the fact that it shows the pronunciation of the names of the dinosaurs. I also gave him some plastic dinosaurs and a cloth bin to keep his dinosaurs in. I only wish that the listing showed more of the pages of the book so that I would’ve known for sure that we were going to like it before I purchased it. He’s really happy about the book.
