Best purchase ever
It is absolutely the best portable chair, Cane and walking stick on the market. Supper easy to open and close. Heavy duty, but light enough to carry. The carrying bag is very convenient. My husband is 6.2’ and 216 lbs I purchase the large and it fits him perfectly not adjustment needed. The chair provides stability and my husband said he feels safe while sitting and when transitioning to a standing position. We have use the chair for 9 months and the rubber heals still like new. It provides support while walking and its functionality is excellent. Great design, quality and value for the money.

Light weight but sturdy
First off, I have not taken this on a trip or even a long walk yet, But I am very impressed with the shoulder sling black carrying bag that the Ta Da arrived in. Very easy to get it out of the bag. Walking with it is no different than walking with a traditional cane. I was worried it would be clunky and compromise my gait but seriously walking laps inside was easy. Opening it to sit again was super simple. Remember to sit facing the handle. I have a substantial posterior and still found the chair comfortable to sit on. Closes up as easily as it opens and slips back in the carry bag . All of that is great but friends this cane/chair is so light I can lift it with my pinkie finger. Now that is a plus because who want to lug around a heavy cane/slash chair. I am so pleased with this TaDa Chair. I am confident it will be a blessing on our upcoming trip.

Best in class.
The height isn’t adjustable otherwise this works great. Other seat canes have different issues which this cane has solved. It is a little heavier than a regular cane but still light enough for use. It doesn’t have the three legged problem since it folds to one tip on the ground. Easy to fold and unfold. Could use a softer grip. Practical, portable. Good looks. I recommend it.

Perfect! Sufficiently pleased with the first that I ordered a second for my wife
After actually using our Ta-Da chairs on a two week trip to Scotland, I'm upgrading my review from four to five stars. On excursions, we often end up standing for 15 minutes while listening to our guide. We simply and quickly convert the handy, light-weight canes into chairs, which provides a far more pleasant walking/stopping/standing experience. Many on our tour were impressed and asked where we had purchased them.Yes, they're much more expensive than competitors, but this is the real deal: lightweight and supports us, ahem, "oversized" people. You won't be able to pack them in luggage, but they come with a convenient carrying pouch that can be slung over your back. (TSA is somewhat perplexed to encounter the pouches, which could be used to disguise a rifle or sword, but once the officer sees what's inside, there's no issue making it through security.)I just ordered this item, and haven't yet used it in real time. However, I tried it out. Here's my initial reaction:1. It's expensive. I don't mind paying a premium price, providing it's an outstanding product.2. Is it an outstanding product? Not quite sure, at least not yet.3. I'm impressed that it's lightweight and, indeed, is sufficiently compact to serve as both a cane and a chair.4. However, it's a bit tricky to actually sit down. And, my experimental attempt was on our living room floor. My guess is that it will not inspire confidence on on-even or soft surfaces. (With that said, the instructions suggest that useage should be limited to even, hard, level surfaces.)5. It seems to be well made, fairly sturdy, and easy to turn from a cane into a seat.I'll update my review after I actually use this product. So, we're tried this out. It's expensive. I'm not sure the extra expense is worth it, but we're so pleased that I ordered a second unit for my wife. It's sturdy, light-weight and easy to set up.We plan to take this on our next trip, which will be to Scotland. I'll report our experience upon our return.

Strong, Sturdy and So Easy to Use
Although it's lightweight, this is so strong and sturdy, perfect for my husband. It opens and closes very easily.

Most excellent product
LOVE this!!! LOVE!!!Easy to “ deploy”, easy to close. Very lightweight. The only drawback is it does not stand upright independently when in the closed position. The handle is closed so it can’t be hung over anything. This is my “ go to” for festivals and concerts. I can use it while waiting in line all day and take a break on it in the mosh pit.If anyone has figured out a way to rig it and hook it to their wrist, belt, whatever, please share. A cup holder would be a plus as well

Very sturdy yet light
Just received this today and I'm really pleased! I wanted something to take when I am going to have to wait in lines and for walks, as I have lumbar problems but I can walk more if I can just sit for a minute sometimes. I think it's going to be great. It sets up and folds down in just a moment, and requires no strength to do it. It's lighter than I even expected, very easy to carry. I am only 5 foot 2, so I bought the shortest one, and it is just the right length for me to use as a cane if I need to. As of now I don't need to use a cane, although I do use a trekking pole for anything more than a short walk on a totally flat surface, and I think this can replace the trekking pole for medium grade walks. I would probably not take this on very difficult or rocky terrain, but I can't really do that kind of hiking anymore anyway. To sit on, the Ta-Da Cane is extremely stable. It feels safer than a lot of flimsy folding chairs I have sat on! Obviously it is not quite as stable on grass or an uneven surface but if you are careful you can still do it. I wish it was a little less expensive so more people could have it. The only thing I might add is a wrist strap. There's a plastic part that comes out of the handle to hang it on the back of your chair, but it's not comfortable to hang off your wrist. That's minor though. Overall I'm very pleased; I think it's going to greatly improve my comfort and my ability to get out and do things... and not let my back pain limit my life.
