Q: My son is in a wheelchair, and we're looking to replace the monthly rental. I was wondering, what are the heights of the stand at lowest and highest?

There are many adjustments that can be made on this set, so these are rough measurements. I measured from the floor to the bottom of the bell or drum, so you would need to add a bit if you are looking for the height of the playing surface. I figured you need to also know if he can wheel up to the stand with his legs under the instrument. The bells attachment is around 36" from the floor at the highest point and 21" from the floor at its lowest. The drum attachment is around 37.5" from the floor at its highest and 25" at its lowest. We also bought this set to replace a monthly school rental, and this set is exactly the same as the one we were renting, so hopefully you can judge by that as well. Hope this helps!

Q: does this insturment come with snare drum, bell set, practice pad, sticks and mallets?

What you see in the picture is what you get. On that note, the stand was weak after a while. My kid did have extra sticks and mallets as well. It is a good set. I am happy with the kit. This set did get a lot of use (daily). My kid and her friends would all practice with this set. the set is till holding up.
